A New Approach to Duality of Electron

Abstract

I decipher quantum duality of electron in Young’s Double-Slit experiment. Hypothesis intends to decode interaction of knocked-electrons with observer, and perturbative disappearance of interference pattern. Hypothesis is based on Bohr’s Atomic Model, and the theoretical concepts of Quantization of electron. The hypothesis proposes a universal field, similar to Higg’s field, that conserves the potential energy of electron through interaction with knocked-electrons, utilizing phenomena of pair-production. The hypothesis provides comprehensive theoretical and mathematical solutions to possibly elaborate, in a broader context, why electrons exhibit duality and the role of observer in Young’s Double-Slit experiment through introduction of universal field (SM Field). The interactions between photon and knocked-electrons have been discussed. Through using Schrodinger wave equation (SWE), a mathematical model has been derived, that is used to explain role of the observer, and duality of electron by using SM field as a supplement.

Wave–particle duality

Muhammad Suhail Zubairy

Abstract Young’s double-slit experiment played a crucial role in establishing the wave nature of light. In this chapter, the shocking result that incident electrons yield a similar interference pattern as that formed by light waves is described. It is shown that the only way the experimental results could be explained is via a wavefunction description of electrons. It is also shown that the interference fringes disappear if the which-path information becomes available. This is the essence of wave–particle duality. The first of the Einstein–Bohr debates on wave–particle duality and Bohr’s principle of complementarity in the double-slit experiment are also discussed. The counterintuitive notions of delayed choice and quantum eraser effects showing how the availability or erasure of information generated in the future can affect how the data in the present can be interpreted are presented. Quantum interference is responsible for novel phenomena like interaction-free measurement and counterfactual communication.

Double Slit Experiment Still Has Much to Offer (4): New Double Slit Experiments Violating Wave Description

Peng, Hui

Young's double slit experiments representing the mystery of quantum mechanics have been descripted by wave theories. To study the mystery, the double slit experiments were extended to the cross-double slit experiments. A description should explain all the double slit and cross-double slit experiments consistently. To test the wave description, the two postulates are proposed, which state that before passing through the double slit and before landing on the detector, photons behave as particles, but not as waves. To test the two postulates, the comprehensive double slit/cross-double slit experiments are proposed and performed. By placing shields and/or blockers near the detector/screen, the comprehensive double slit/cross-double slit experiments show that the fringes are created independently and partially, which discloses the particle nature of photons in the double slit/crossdouble slit experiments and violates the wave descriptions. The comprehensive double slit/cross-double slit experiments provide the comprehensive phenomena for developing theoretical model to study the mystery of double slit, complementarity principle, wave-particle duality, and wave theory of light.

The Nature of Light: What Hidden Behind Young's Double-Slit Experiment?

Xiuqing, Huang

We experimentally prove that the famous single- and double-slit experiments are the scattered-light phase transition by slit edges rather than the conventional view of the transmitted-light effect by slits. The nature of the wave-particle duality of light quanta can be well understood with the help of the dynamic hypothesis of the quantized chiral photons having an intrinsic dual-energy (implicit electric field energy and hidden magnetic field energy) cyclic exchange property. With the suggested theoretical framework, the experimental diffraction pattern of the single slit is analytically determined and numerically confirmed.

Intermediate Intensity Electrical Observer Effect

Sultan Sultan, Omama

The inspection of the dual nature of the electron is proposed, with modifications in initial double-slit experiment, such as introduction of intermediate-intensity of electrical field. We are mindful of mysterious nature of the quantum particles, exceptionally electrons. The particle maneuvers as wave, but upon observation, the wave-function of the electron is collapsed. An interference pattern ceases to be observed, which limits us to what we can measure and what we cannot, with current detection methods, in which photons are utilized as detector. In the original procedure, a source of high-intensity light (photons) is used to measure the position of the electrons, which leads to the collapse of the wave-function. An investigation is proposed, to observe the effects of the intermediate-intensity electric field on the nature of electron. Keywords: double-slit experiment, quantum duality, measurements, QED, electron
