The Physical Transient Spectrum for a Multi-Photon V-Type Three-Level Atom Interacting with a Squeezed Coherent Field in the Presence of Nonlinearities

F. K. Faramawy, Abd El-Hameed Abd-Riheem Eied

We study the interaction of a multi-photon three-level atom with a single mode field in a cavity, taking explicitly into account the existence of forms of nonlinearities of both the field and the intensity-dependent atom-field coupling. The analytical forms of the emission spectrum is calculated using the dressed states of the system. The effects of photon multiplicities, mean photon number, detuning, Kerr-like medium and the intensity-dependent coupling functional on the emission spectrum are analyzed.

Correlation Properties of the Field in the System of Uncorrelated Two-mode Thermal Field Interacting with V-type Three-level Atom in Kerr Medium Cavity

HE Shu-fang

The correlation properties of the uncorrelated two-mode thermal field during their interaction with V-type three-level atom in the Kerr medium cavity is studied.By numerical calculation and graphic analysis, the influences of the Kerr medium, the detuning, mean photon number and coupling constant on correlation property are discussed. The result shows that;when the V-type three-level atom is interacting with initial uncorrelated two-mode thermal field, the correlation of the two-mode field will take place and the correlation intensity of the fields depends on the coupling strength, the detuning and the Kerr medium;when the two-mode thermal field interacts with nude atom symmetrically, the two-mode field is always positive correlative;with the mean photon number of one mode increasing, the correlation intensity of the field will decrease;the enhancing of Kerr medium and detuning will reduce the correlation intensity of the fields;when the two-mode thermal field interacts with nude atom nonsymmetrically, without loss of generality, supposed g1g2,the property of correlation appears alternately between correlation and anti-correlation;when the mean photon number of one mode remains unchanging and the mean photon number of the other mode increases,anti-correlation will disappear.

Dynamics of properties of light field interacting with the V-type three-level atom via intensity-dependent coupling

Jiangfan Li

Dynamics of properties of light field of non-resonance interaction between V-type three-level atom and a single mode via intensity-dependent coupling is studied by means of the quantum theory. The influences of initial average photon numbers and the detuning are discussed.
