It is shown that the self-referential model of the world (in such a model the world is an observer of itself) generates a quantum-like description of reality.
Simple self‐referential algorithms can model the essential logic of quantum systems and the quantum formalism is sufficiently rich to be able to model the output states of self‐referential alogrithms. We identify a key feature of self‐referentiality and show that both quantum mechanics and general relativity exhibit this feature in distinct yet complementary ways. This implies that self‐referentiality must be a foundational principle, but causality protection prohibits it being directly observed. Examining two facets of causality protection we find that quantum mechanics implements one and general relativity the other. The implication is that there can be no mathematically consistent theory for quantum gravity. However we can gain understanding of the constraints imposed on physical law when viewing a noncausal reality as if it were a causal sequence. We derive the 3+1 dimensionality of spacetime and quantum non‐locality and also possible rationale for the U(1) × SU(2) × SU(3) symmetry of the Standard Model. We also identify a number of key open problems.
Based on the mathematical framework established in the Observer Geometryseries (A-I), this paper proposes a novel structural resolution to Schrödinger’s catparadox and the many-worlds interpretation. By internalizing the observer as aself-referential subsystem of noncommutative algebras, we prove that the core ofthe quantum measurement problem is not ”how the wave function collapses” or”how worlds branch”, but rather the self-referential rupture and repair of the observer algebra structure at the micro-macro interface. This paper unifies six existing theories—Dynamic Time Algebra, Post-Markovian Paradigm, Temporal LayerCausal Evolution, Chronogroup Framework, Time Fiber Category, and Origin ofOrder—and demonstrates that they are all effective descriptions of observer geometry under different projections. We derive three testable predictions: logarithmicoscillatory patterns in CMB non-Gaussianity, topologically chiral currents without external fields in mesoscopic systems, and magic number resonance structuresin high-energy colliders. This framework elevates the many-worlds interpretationfrom ”metaphysics of parallel universes” to ”geometric realization of self-referentialalgebras”, providing a mathematically self-consistent and experimentally testableunified solution to the foundational problems of quantum mechanics.
This paper proposes a novel framework for a unified field theory, tentatively termed "Self-Referential Field Theory" (SRFT), that integrates quantum mechanics and consciousness. We argue that the brain's neural network, viewed as a system of 'self-referential' fields, offers a compelling pathway to understanding the emergence of complex patterns and potentially, consciousness. This theory posits that the fundamental principles governing neural activity are intrinsically linked to quantum phenomena, creating a feedback loop that drives the emergence of subjective experience. We introduce a mathematical model, utilizing the concept of 'quantum coherence' within the context of field dynamics, to explore potential mechanisms for generating emergent consciousness. This work addresses a significant gap in current theoretical understanding by explicitly modeling the interplay between quantum mechanics and consciousness, potentially offering a more complete and consistent description of the mind.
