A Lie algebraic approach to non-Hermitian Hamiltonians with real spectra

An algebraic technique useful in studying non-Hermitian Hamiltonians with real spectra, is presented. The method is illustrated by explicit application to a family of one-dimensional potentials.

Non-hermitian models in higher dimensions

Pulak Ranjan Giri

It is know that PT-symmetric models have real spectra provided the symmetry is not spontaneously broken. Even pseudo-hermitian models have real spectra, which enlarge the the class of non-hermitian models possessing real spectra. We however consider non-hermitian models in higher dimensions which are not necessarily explicit PT-symmetric nor pseudo-hermitian. We show that the models may generate real spectra depending upon the coupling constants of the Hamiltonian. Our models thus further generalize the class of non-hermitian systems, which possess real spectra.

Sensitizing Non-Hermitian Hamiltonian for Study of Real Spectra

Biswanath Rath

.We notice many non-Hermitian Hamiltonians yield real spectra .Interestingly some of them belong to PT symmetry and others non-PT symmetry in nature. In the case of simple quantum systems, one can calculate the eigen- spectra analytically, however in other cases one has seek numerical results .We give specific atten tion on stable real spectra .

Non-Hermitian Hamiltonians with Real Spectra in Quantum Mechanics

C. Yüce

A condition to have a real spectrum for a non-Hermitian Hamiltonian is given. As special cases, it is shown that the condition is reduced to Hermiticity and PT symmetric conditions.
