Universal Lax pairs for Spin Calogero-Moser Models and Spin Exchange Models

Abstract

For any root system ∆ and an irreducible representation R of the reflection (Weyl) group G ∆ generated by ∆, a spin Calogero-Moser model can be defined for each of the potentials: rational, hyperbolic, trigonometric and elliptic. For each member µ of R, to be called a “site”, we associate a vector space Vµ whose element is called a “spin”. Its dynamical variables are the canonical coordinates {qj,pj} of a particle in R r, (r = rank of ∆), and spin exchange operators { ˆ Pρ} (ρ ∈ ∆) which exchange the spins at the sites µ and sρ(µ). Here sρ is the reflection generated by ρ. For each ∆ and R a spin exchange model can be defined. The Hamiltonian of a spin exchange model is a linear combination of the spin exchange operators only. It is obtained by “freezing ” the canonical variables at the equilibrium point of the corresponding classical Calogero-Moser model. For ∆ = Ar and R = vector representation it reduces to the well-known Haldane-Shastry model. Universal Lax pair operators for both spin Calogero-Moser models and spin exchange models are presented which enable us to construct as many conserved quantities as the number of sites for degenerate potentials.

Universal Lax pairs for spin Calogero–Moser models and spin exchange models

V I Inozemtsev, Ryu Sasaki B

For any root system $Δ$ and an irreducible representation ${\cal R}$ of the reflection (Weyl) group $G_Δ$ generated by $Δ$, a {\em spin Calogero-Moser model} can be defined for each of the potentials: rational, hyperbolic, trigonometric and elliptic. For each member $μ$ of ${\cal R}$, to be called a "site", we associate a vector space ${\bf V}_μ$ whose element is called a "spin". Its dynamical variables are the canonical coordinates $\{q_j,p_j\}$ of a particle in ${\bf R}^r$, ($r=$ rank of $Δ$), and spin exchange operators $\{\hat{\cal P}_ρ\}$ ($ρ\inΔ$) which exchange the spins at the sites $μ$ and $s_ρ(μ)$. Here $s_ρ$ is the reflection generated by $ρ$. For each $Δ$ and ${\cal R}$ a {\em spin exchange model} can be defined. The Hamiltonian of a spin exchange model is a linear combination of the spin exchange operators only. It is obtained by "freezing" the canonical variables at the equilibrium point of the corresponding classical Calogero-Moser model. For $Δ=A_r$ and ${\cal R}=$ vector representation it reduces to the well-known Haldane-Shastry model. Universal Lax pair operators for both spin Calogero-Moser models and spin exchange models are presented which enable us to construct as many conserved quantities as the number of sites for {\em degenerate} potentials.

R-matrix-valued Lax pairs and long-range spin chains

Ivan Andreevich Sechin, Andrei Vladimirovich Zotov

In this paper we discuss R-matrix-valued Lax pairs for slN Calogero–Moser model and their relation to integrable quantum long-range spin chains of the Haldane–Shastry–Inozemtsev type. First, we construct the R-matrix-valued Lax pairs for the third flow of the classical Calogero–Moser model. Then we notice that the scalar parts (in the auxiliary space) of the M-matrices corresponding to the second and third flows have form of special spin exchange operators. The freezing trick restricts them to quantum Hamiltonians of long-range spin chains. We show that for a special choice of the R-matrix these Hamiltonians reproduce those for the Inozemtsev chain. In the general case related to the Baxter's elliptic R-matrix we obtain a natural anisotropic extension of the Inozemtsev chain. Commutativity of the Hamiltonians is verified numerically. Trigonometric limits lead to the Haldane–Shastry chains and their anisotropic generalizations.

A Universal Construction of Calogero-Moser System with Two Types Spins Interaction

Jialiang Dai

Abstract We present universal construction for the Calogero-Moser system with two types spins interaction of trigonometric potential based on the root system of semi-simple Lie algebra. In this formalism, we successfully build up the correct Lax pair as well as the R-matrix for this generalized Calogero-Moser models. Moreover using the property of root system, we make a concise explanation that in the quantized model, the R-matrix takes the same form as the classical one, which is the main new result of this paper.

Conserved Operators in Calogero-Moser Spin System

Kazuhiro Hikami, Miki Wadati

For the SU(ν) Calogero-Moser spin system, we obtain a series of new conserved operators from the Lax operator. Furthermore, we show that these operators realize the su(ν) Kac-Moody algebra. The coexistence of U(1) and SU(ν) currents corresponds to the charge-spin separation in the model.

The Quantum Calogero-Moser Model: Algebraic Structures

Hideaki Ujino, Miki Wadati, Kazuhiro Hikami

For the quantum Calogero-Moser model, we construct a set of conserved operators and another set of operators, named boost operators, from its Lax operator. We prove that each conserved operator satisfies both the Lax equation and a remarkable relation named additional relation. From these knowledge, we show that the conserved operators are involutive. Moreover, the conserved operators and the boost operators constitute the U(1)-current algebra. All the proofs are simplified a great deal due to the Lax equations and additional relations.

The non-dynamicalr-matrix structure for the elliptic Calogero-Moser model

Bo-Yu Hou, Wen‐Li Yang

In this paper we construct a new Lax operator for the elliptic Calogero-Moser model with general from the classical dynamical twisting, in which the corresponding r -matrix is purely numerical (non-dynamic). The non-dynamical r -matrix structure of this Lax operator is obtained, which is the elliptic -symmetric r -matrix.
