Abstract

We investigate the link between quantum Fisher information (QFI) and quantum entanglement for a scheme of two atoms that interact with two non-degenerate modes in the absence and presence of intrinsic decoherence effect. The explicit form of the density matrix approach to the dissipative systems is given when the cavity-field is in generalized coherent states. The dynamical behavior of the QFI is compared with the atom–atom concurrence entanglement. We examine the effect of the dipole–dipole interaction and intrinsic decoherence on the dynamical properties of the QFI, concurrence and variance entropy squeezing. It is found that the atom–atom concurrence and the QFI can be controlled by the intrinsic decoherence and the dipole–dipole interaction.

Quantum Fisher Information and Entanglement of Moving Two Two-Level Atoms under the Influence of Environmental Effects

Syed Jamal Anwar, M. Usman, Muhammad Asif Ramzan +1 more

We have investigated numerically the dynamics of quantum Fisher information (QFI) and quantum entanglement (QE) of a two moving two-level atomic systems interacting with a coherent and thermal field in the presence of intrinsic decoherence (ID) and Kerr (non-linear medium) and Stark effects. The state of the entire system interacting with coherent and thermal fields is evaluated numerically under the influence of ID and Kerr (nonlinear) and Stark effects. QFI and von Neumann entropy (VNE) decrease in the presence of ID when the atomic motion is neglected. QFI and QE show an opposite response during its time evolution in the presence of a thermal environment. QFI is found to be more susceptible to ID as compared to QE in the presence of a thermal environment. The decay of QE is further damped at greater time-scales, which confirms the fact that ID heavily influences the system’s dynamics in a thermal environment. However, a periodic behavior of entanglement is observed due to atomic motion, which becomes modest under environmental effects. It is found that a non-linear Kerr medium has a prominent effect on the VNE but not on the QFI. Furthermore, it has been observed that QFI and QE decay soon under the influence of the Stark effect in the absence of atomic motion. The periodic response of QFI and VNE is observed for both the non-linear Kerr medium and the Stark effect in the presence of atomic motion. It is observed that the Stark, Kerr, ID, and thermal environment have significant effects during the time evolution of the quantum system.

Quantum effects in two-qubit systems interacting with two-mode fields: Dissipation and dipole-dipole interplay effects

A.‐B. A. Mohamed, Hichem Eleuch, A.‐S. F. Obada

We explore two coupled dipole qubits interacting with two-mode cavity fields through non-degenerate two-photon processes and under the influence of intrinsic noise. Our investigation is based on the influence of the coupling constants between different constituents of the system on the quantum coherence and entropy squeezing. We investigate the phase space information, entanglement, and purity via the Husimi function. It is found that the robustness of the positivity and the negativity of the superposition of generalized coherent state is highly sensitive to the coupling constants. The phase space quantum information, the matter-light entanglement, and the stationary mixture state can be controlled by the two-qubit coupling as well as the coupling to the environment. The effect of the intrinsic dissipation and the two-qubit coupling on the generated squeezing via the qubit-system variable squeezing or the entropy squeezing is investigated. They lead to revoke the squeezing phenomenon.

Quantum memory and coherence dynamics of two dipole-coupled qubits interacting with two cavity fields under decoherence effect

Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, Abdel‐Haleem Abdel‐Aty, Hichem Eleuch

This paper investigates the intrinsic decoherence effect on quantum memory and coherence dynamics of two dipole-coupled qubits in a non-degenerate bimodel cavity. Entropic uncertainty, entropy, and concurrence are utilized to examine the dynamics of quantum-memory-assisted entropic uncertainty relations, mixedness, and entanglement. The results indicate that the nonlinear interactions between the two qubits and the cavity generate quantum-memory-assisted entropic uncertainty, mixedness, and entanglement, which are reliant not only on the qubit–qubit interaction but also on the intrinsic decoherence and coherence intensity of the initial two-mode cavity states. For specific values of the dipole–dipole interaction, non-classical correlations can be enhanced By reducing the initial intensity coherence, the stability of the quantum memory-assisted entropic uncertainty relations, as well as the two-qubit mixedness of the intrinsic decoherence, are accelerated.

Quantum scheme of dissipative two qubits in a squeezed field: Entanglement and Fisher information

S. Abdel‐Khalek, Eied Mahmoud Khalil, Hammad Alotaibi +3 more

A clear relationship between the quantum version of Fisher information and the bipartite system entanglement has been explored recently. Known existing results for some quantum systems having strongly nonlocal correlations are still limited. In this paper, based on the interaction between a two-qubit and squeezed field, we investigate the correlation between the dynamical behavior of qubit-qubit entanglement and the quantum Fisher information (QFI). We focus on the effect of a number of photon multiplicity, low and high squeezing regime of the field on the dynamics of the QFI and entanglement quantifier. We show how the QFI and entanglement quantifier can be affected by the number of photon multiplicity and squeeze parameter during the time evolution of cases of absence and presence of dissipation effect. Our results exhibit the correlation between the entanglement quantifiers and the QFI with respect to the appearance of collapse and revival phenomena of the atomic inversion.

Influence of intrinsic decoherence on quantum metrology of two atomic systems in the presence of dipole–dipole interaction

N. H. Abdel-Wahab, T. A. S. Ibrahim, Magdy E. Amin +1 more

Abstract We study the dynamics behavior of a two atomic qubits (two two-level atoms) exposed to a dipole–dipole interaction (DDI) under rotating wave approximation (RWA). Each atom resonantly interacts with the vacuum cavity field via one-photon hopping. We assume that the two atoms and field are initially prepared in their excited state and vacuum state, respectively. An exact solution of Milburn equation is given, and then we study a non-classical statistical properties in the full range of decoherence parameters. In the absence and presence of intrinsic decoherence, the influence of dipole–dipole interaction (DDI) on the degree of entanglement between atom-field and atom-atom are evaluated through different entanglement measures, namely, von Neumann reduced entropy and concurrence, respectively. The influence of DDI on geometrical quantum discord (GQD) are discussed. Furthermore, we estimate the sensitive of the atomic system under variation of DDI parameter via the quantum Fisher information.

Quantum Fisher Information of Three-Level Atom under the Influence of the Stark Effect and Intrinsic Dechorence

Syed Jamal Anwar, Muhammad Asif Ramzan, Majid Khan

We study the dynamical evolution of quantum Fisher information (QFI) and von Neumann entropy (VNE) for a three-level atomic system interacting with the single-mode coherent field in the presence of the Stark effect and intrinsic decoherence (ID) with and without atomic motion. The effect of the ID is significant on the VNE and QFI for a three-level atom in the absence of atomic motion. It is observed that in the case of a three-level atomic system in the presence of ID, the decay of QFI and VNE is rapid and significant but no prominent effect of the Stark effect is observed. Hence, for a three-level atom, the decay of quantum entanglement (QE) with respect to time is very fast and rapid in the absence of atomic motion with an increasing value of ID. Moreover, ID is not suitable to maintain the QE for three-level atomic systems in the absence of atomic motion. The Stark effect has no significant effect on the QE. In the case of three-level atoms, ID and the Stark do not affect the periodic nature of QFI and VNE with time evolution in the presence of atomic motion. The periodic response of QFI and VNE is observed under the effect of the Stark effect and ID in the presence of a motion of a three-level atom. The QE sudden death and birth is observed in the presence of atomic motion. Therefore, the ID with the Stark effect is suitable to sustain and maintain the QE in the presence of atomic motion for three-level atomic systems. These results show the strong dependence of QFI and VNE on the Stark effect and ID.
