Bidirectional quantum-controlled teleportation using six-qubit cluster state without remote joint operation

Abstract

Utilizing a six-qubit cluster state as quantum channel, a bidirectional controlled quantum teleportation (BCQT) scheme was put forward by Yan in [Int. J. Theor. Phys. 52, 3870 (2013)]. However, in order to accomplish the task, two agents must cooperate to perform a quantum controlled phase gate operation on their two qubits. In view of the present technique, such kind of remote joint operation is difficult to be realized. In this paper, based on the same cluster state, we propose a different BCQT scheme to avoid the remote joint operation. Besides, an unnecessary waste of classical messages in Yan’s scheme is point out.

Optimizing the scheme of bidirectional controlled quantum teleportation with a genuine five-qubit entangled state

Hao Yuan, Zhanjun Zhang

A bidirectional controlled quantum teleportation (BCQT) scheme was proposed by Yan Chen [Int. J. Theor. Phys. 53, 1454 (2014)] with a genuine five-qubit entangled state as quantum channel. In the scheme two remote participants have to perform some two-qubit joint operations to accomplish the BCQT task. Such joint operations are nonlocal and usually regarded as serious faults in some sense. To overcome them, in this paper we put forward an optimized version. Our scheme has the distinct advantages of degrading the necessary-operation complexity (i.e., both intensity and difficulty) and consuming fewer classical resources as well as owing higher intrinsic efficiency in contrast to Chen’s. Besides, it is feasible in experiment and applicable in the intending quantum network.

Bidirectional controlled quantum teleportation of multi-qubit entangled states via five-qubit entangled state

Vikram Verma

Abstract Several schemes for bidirectional controlled quantum teleportation (BCQT) of arbitrary single-qubit states have been proposed by utilizing five-qubit entangled states, six-qubit entangled state and seven-qubit entangled state as the quantum channels. In this paper, a generalization to BCQT of multi-qubit entangled states is presented. By using a five-qubit entangled state as the quantum channel, we propose a scheme for BCQT of certain class of multi-qubit entangled states in which two legitimate users exchange their unknown multi-qubit entangled state to each other with the help of a supervisor. Compared with previous BCQT (3 ↔ 3) scheme [2019 Int. J. Theor. Phys . 58 3594], our proposed BCQT (m ↔ n) scheme requires less consumption of quantum and classical resources, and possesses higher intrinsic efficiency. Also, the present BCQT scheme is more general and has less operation complexity.

Improvement of bidirectional controlled teleportation by using a five-qubit composite GHZ-Bell state

Bahareh Yahyaei, Monireh Houshmand, Shima Hassanpour

Recently, Li and Nie (Int. J. Theo. Phys. 52:1630, 2013) had introduced a bidirectional controlled quantum teleportation (BCQT) protocol by using GHZ-Bell state as a quantum channel. Also, Shukla et al. (Int. J. Theo. Phys. 52:3790, 2013) had shown the Li and Nie (LN) protocol is not a BCQT scheme. In this paper, two kinds of bidirectional teleportation schemes in order to correct and improve LN protocol are presented. In the first scheme, Alice and Bob as two legitimate users can simultaneously teleport an unknown single-qubit state to each other with the help of controller Charlie. In the second scheme, Alice can transmit two-qubit entangled state to Bob and at the same time Bob can teleport single-qubit state to Alice. In both of proposed schemes the quantum channel linking users is a GHZ-Bell state.

Improving the scheme of bidirectional controlled teleportation with a five-qubit composite GHZ-Bell state

Abstract A bidirectional controlled quantum state teleportation (BCQST) scheme was proposed by Li et al (2013 Int. J. Theor. Phys. 52 1630) using a five-qubit composite Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger-Bell state as the quantum channel. However, it was found to be unsuccessful for bidirectional teleportation control due to its own security loopholes (Shukla et al 2013 Int. J. Theor. Phys. 52 3790). In this paper, we put forward an improved version of the BCQST scheme so that the loopholes are fixed and the bidirectional control can indeed be achieved. In addition, after the improvement, the revised scheme becomes more feasible in terms of present experimental techniques.

Improvement on Quantum bidirectional teleportation 2-2 or 2-3 qubit teleportation protocol via 6-qubit entangled state

Recently, Ri-Gui Zhou et al. [Int. J. Theor. Phys. 59, 166-172 (2020)] proposed a scheme for bidirectional quantum teleportation of two-two and two-three qubit states by utilizing a six-qubit entangled state as a quantum channel. It is observed that the intrinsic efficiency calculated by Zhou et al. is not correct. In this improved scheme, we show that bidirectional teleportation of two-two and two-three qubit quantum states can be done by using optimized quantum resource and less consumption of classical resource. We also calculate the intrinsic efficiency of our improved scheme which is much better than the Zhou's scheme. Additionally, we also discuss about the security of the protocol.

Two different efficient controlled quantum teleportation schemes via four-qubit cluster state

Hao Yuan, Zhanjun Zhang

Abstract By utilizing the four-qubit cluster state as quantum channel, two efficient quantum schemes for teleporting an arbitrary single-qubit state in a controlled manner are put forward. In one scheme the controller needs to dominate a qubit only, while in another scheme the controller has to hold two qubits. The inspection of the necessary operations indicates that both schemes are feasible in terms of the current technologies. Moreover, these two schemes are compared with two competing schemes which employ the same quantum channel [i.e., the JM-schemes proposed by Jiang and Mo, Int. J. Theor. Phys. 56, 3084 (2017)]. It is found that, in contrast to the JM-schemes, the schemes we proposed have some prominent advantages, such as lower consumption of classical information, fewer necessary local quantum operations, and higher intrinsic efficiency.
