Fidelity of the scheme of continunous variables quantum teleportation via minimum-correlation mixed quantum states

Yun‐Jie Xia, Guanghui Wang, Shao-Jiang Du +1 more

Based on the proposal of Braunstein and Kimble,we studied the continuous variables quantum teleportation via minimum-correlation mixed state. The results show that the mixed entangled state as a generalized type of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen entangled states is a good quantum channel. As an example,we analyzed in detail teleporting a coherent state by means of this channel. When the parameters of minimum-correlation mixed state are chosen properly, the fidelity will almost reach to unity. The minimum-correlation mixed state as a quantum channel is better than the two-mode squeezed vacuum state.

Efficiency increasing of the bidirectional teleportation protocol via weak and reversal measurements

C. Seida, Abderrahim El Allati, NASSER METWALLY +1 more

Abstract In this suggested version of the bidirectional teleportation protocol, it is assumed that the used quantum channel passes through an amplitude damping channel. Therefore, some of its quantum correlations (entanglement) are lost and, consequently, its efficiency to implement this protocol decreases. The weak and the reversal measurements are used to recover the losses of these correlations, where the negativity, as a measure of entanglement is improved. In this context, we discussed the effect of the noisy strength on the fidelities of the bidirectional teleported states between the users. It is shown that, by applying the weak and the reversal measurements (WRM) on the initial quantum channel between the users, the fidelities of the teleported states are improved. Moreover, we showed that, the upper bounds of the teleported states depend on the initial states of the triggers and the strengths of WRM. It is worth noting that the WRM improves the quantum correlations of the shared channel and, hence, the fidelity of the teleported state if the initial fidelity of the teleported state is larger than 0.5.

Quantum teleportation, entanglement, and Bell nonlocality in correlated noisy channels

Zhan-Yun Wang, Zhi-Yong Qin

Abstract We investigate how the correlations between consecutive actions of the two-qubit noisy channels affect quantum teleportation, entanglement, and Bell nonlocality. For the initial Bell and Werner states used for teleportation, we established connections among these three quantities, and obtained the minimum correlation strengths for achieving the nonclassical teleportation fidelity, nonvanishing entanglement, and Bell-nonlocal states. It was found that these three quantities can be noticeably enhanced due to the existence of the channel correlations. By considering a colored dephasing channel, we further investigated the combined effects of the channel correlation and the (non-)Markovianity of the channel on the teleportation fidelity, entanglement, and Bell nonlocality. The result shows that while they decrease monotonically with time in the Markovian regime, their strengths can be further enhanced due to the non-Markovian memory effect in a wide time region.
