A block chain is referred to as a growing list of records which are linked using cryptography. It is simple and open ledger that records all the transactions in block structures. These block structures are bound with each other by using Quantum Cryptographic protocols. The block chain is democratic system in which concerned parties get access by using a key to perform transaction. The well-known type of Quantum Cryptography protocol is Quantum Key Distribution (QKD). With the help of QKD our Crypto-currency system is secured when passage in between transmitting end and receiving end shouldn't be intrude by third party. Secrecy of the system depends upon different factors like efficient and optimized key rate, secure carrier of modulating signal. In this work the transparency and immunity of block chain based crypto-currency system is analyzed with simulation of six state QKD Protocol. The generation of key rate is observed to ensure the path for production of better crypto-currency system. A Mathematical model is used to obtain the desire constraints so that linear relationship can be achieved. At application level this study contributes to the implementation of crypto-currency system through six state QKD protocol.

In decentralized environments where the parties have only partial trust, secure and fair exchange is a must throughout the entire process. Smart contracts, transparency, and unalterable transaction records are the main functionalities that blockchain technology uses to implement fair exchange, while the case of quantum cryptography is different in that it offers robust security through the quantum key distribution method with eavesdropping that is detectable. In this paper, we examine the pros and cons of blockchain-based versus quantum cryptographic models for implementing secure fair exchange. We evaluate the issues that concern security, fairness, efficiency, scalability, and resistance to quantum attacks. The outcome of the analysis reveals that blockchain not only guarantees enforcement and transparency but also that the adoption of quantum cryptography has a tremendous impact on security, thus increasing the robustness and future-readiness of the fair exchange protocols.
The theory of QKD was first introduced in the 1980s. Initially, classical cryptographic methods were used to secure communication, but it was not a secure approach. Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) represents high-tech solution in the arena of secure and reliable cryptography and communication. Quantum key distribution make the use of quantum superposition and quantum entanglement to facilitate the secure interchange of cryptographic keys between two parties, with a theoretical invulnerability resistant to many threats, also including the threats that classical computing faces. On the other hand, blockchain is secured through cryptographic measures. A wide range of block chain applications rely on digital signatures and hash function which is easily traceable by quantum computers. The progress in quantum computing poses a potential risk of compromising existing cryptographic algorithms, in response to this challenge, proposals for potential solutions, such as the development of quantum-resistant blockchains, are being presented. The motivation of this study is to secure blockchain with the help of QKD. Fundamentally, understanding quantum key distribution is challenging. Hence, this research employs a Quantum Key Distribution Network simulator to analyze key distribution. The study focuses on illuminating the security concerns within blockchain and explores a potential solution through the deployment of quantum key distribution. Additionally, the research delves into the examination of a quantum key distribution network using a dedicated simulator.
In the age of digital transformation, the integrity and security of online voting systems have become a growing concern. Traditional cryptography methods are vulnerable to advances in quantum computing, demanding the need for more secure alternatives. This paper explores the application of quantum cryptography in enhancing the security of blockchain-based voting systems, a decentralized and transparent approach to conduct elections. We introduce a novel quantum-resistant voting protocol that integrates Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) with post-quantum cryptographic algorithms, ensuring secure voter authentication, vote casting, and tallying. The methodology combines quantum encryption with blockchain's immutability to create a tamper-proof voting ledger, preventing unauthorized access and vote manipulation. It gives an analysis of potential real-world implementations, positioning a hybrid quantum-blockchain framework as a promising solution for future secure electronic voting systems.
Quantum computing's development poses a significant threat to the cryptographic security of current blockchain technologies, potentially undermining the integrity of digital transactions. Quantum computers can break the complex mathematical problems that algorithms like RSA and ECC rely on, which could lead to vulnerabilities such as double-spending and fraud. To address these risks, the blockchain community is exploring quantum-resistant protocols that employ post-quantum cryptographic algorithms, which are designed to withstand quantum computing attacks. Quantum-secure blockchain protocols integrate quantum key distribution (QKD) and post-quantum cryptography (PQC) to enhance security. QKD uses quantum mechanics principles to secure communication channels, ensuring that any attempt to intercept the key introduces detectable anomalies. PQC involves algorithms like lattice-based, hash-based, or multivariate polynomial-based algorithms that are believed to be secure against quantum attacks. These protocols aim to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and security of data transmitted over the blockchain, ensuring the longevity and reliability of blockchain systems in the face of evolving computational advancements. A quantum-secure blockchain scheme (QSB) utilizes a consensus mechanism, QPoA, and IQS. The QPoA is leveraged for block generation while the IQS is deployed in transaction verification1. Furthermore, the integration of quantum computing with blockchain can address current limitations, such as slow transaction speeds and lack of scalability, by optimizing calculations and enabling smarter, more sophisticated smart contracts. The development and implementation of quantum-resistant blockchains are essential for future-proofing digital transactions and maintaining trust in decentralized systems
Key negotiation plays an important role in ensuring secure communication channel, and establishes confidentiality between parties. Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) represents an advanced and highly secure method for distributing cryptographic keys between involved parties. Multiple QKD implementation possibilities have led to the upgrading of various QKD protocols. Quantum key distribution involves two types of protocols approaches prepare-and-measure and entanglement based, this paper focuses entanglement-based protocol. Prepare-and-measure protocols are vulnerable to certain attacks and have lower key generation rate as compared to entanglement based protocol. Entanglement is certified as a key element in the arena of quantum information processing, contributing in applications like quantum cryptography, quantum computation and quantum communication. Entanglement leads to the phenomenon known as entanglement swapping, entanglement swapping phenomenon involves parties getting entangled without interacting with each other. This research focuses on the advantages and the security provided by entanglement swapping in quantum key distribution. Blockchain also utilizes key distribution process with the involvement of classical cryptography. Classical cryptography blockchain are not quantum-resistant, blockchain with quantum computing infrastructure are more advance and secure. Implementing entanglement swapping in the infrastructure of blockchain can make the blockchain quantum-resistant to secure communication and transactions. Within this manuscript, we theoretically study the entanglement swapping of Bell states in quantum key distribution and propose an idea of blockchain with entanglement swapping to enhance quantum resistance. This study also explores the employing of entanglement swapping in cloud infrastructure.
The quantum secure communication is still in the early stages of implementation. The proposal of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), while theoretically ensuring unconditional security in key distribution, presents practical challenges in the described communication scenarios. For instance, there are issues such as low key-distribution efficiency and the inability to achieve end-to-end identity authentication. In this paper, we have established a distributed quantum secure communication identity authentication system. We achieve end-to-end identity authentication and encrypted communication between communication terminals through a distributed authentication framework. At the same time, we utilize blockchain for storing transaction information. Blockchain, with its features of immutability, resistance to single points of failure and data corruption, and transparency, ensures that transaction information is publicly transparent and can be queried at any time. This design guarantees the tamper-proof nature of transaction information, thereby ensuring the uniqueness of the allocated keys and enhancing the security of the keys.
