Abstract

Abstract A new type of pair quantum states is introduced. Which can be considered as pair Barut-Girardello coherent states. It is an eigenstate of the operators K − ab = K − a K − b and K 3 a − K 3 b . We construct these eigenstates and generation scheme is proposed in terms of two mode state described in terms of su(1, 1) Lie algebra , We employ the second-order correlation function to discuss some non-classical properties, and violations of Cauchy-Schwarz inequalities. The phenomenon of squeezing is examined , squeezing is clear and Q-functions support that. Finally the phase distribution in the framework of an appropriate Pegg and Barnett formalism is considered and discussed.

Nonclassical Properties of a Class of Nonlinear Pair Coherent State

H. H. Salah

In the present work a class of nonlinear pair coherent state introduced depending on the form of the nonlinearity function with examining some of its nonclassical properties. In particular, it is shown that such state exhibits nonclassical properties such as squeezing and sub-Poissonian behaviour. Also, the quasiprobability distribution functions (Wigner-function, Q-function) are discussed. Finally, the phase properties in Pegg-Barnett formalism is considered.

Quantum Properties of Two-Mode Squeezed Even and Odd Coherent States

Jing Zhang, Wei Wu, Meng Shao-ying

Two new types of quantum states are constructed by applying the operator s (ξ) = exp (ξ* ab −ξ a † b † ) on the two-mode even and odd coherent states. The mathematical and quantum statistical properties of such states are investigated. Various nonclassical features of these states, such as squeezing properties, the inter-mode photon bunching, and the violation of Cauchy–Schwarz inequality, are discussed. The Wigner function in these states are studied in detail.

SU(1,1) Nonlinear Coherent States

B. Mojaveri, Alireza Dehghani

The idea of construction of the nonlinear coherent states based on the hypergeometric- type operators associated to the Weyl-Heisenberg group [J:P hys:A 45(2012) 095304], are generalized to the similar states for the arbitrary Lie group SU(1, 1). By using of a discrete, unitary and irreducible representation of the Lie algebra su(1, 1) wide range of generalized nonlinear coherent states(GNCS) have been introduced, which admit a resolution of the identity through positive definite measures on the complex plane. We have shown that realization of these states for different values of the deformation pa- rameters r = 1 and 2 lead to the well-known Klauder-Perelomov and Barut-Girardello coherent states associated to the Irreps of the Lie algebra su(1, 1), respectively. It is worth to mention that, like the canonical coherent states, GNCS possess the temporal stability property. Finally, studying some statistical characters implies that they have indeed nonclassical features such as squeezing, anti-bunching effect and sub-Poissonian statistics, too.

Nonclassical Properties of Even and Odd Semi-Coherent States

H. H. Salah

Even and odd semi-coherent states have been introduced. Some of the nonclasscial properties of the states are studied in terms of the quadrature squeezing as well as sub-Poissonian photon statistics. The Husimi-Kano Q-function and the phase distribution in the framework of Pegg and Barnett formalism, are also discussed.

A new class off-deformed charge coherent states and their nonclassical properties

M Mortazavi, M K Tavassoly

Two-mode charge (pair) coherent states have been introduced previously by using the 〈η| representation. In this paper, we reobtain these states by a rather different method. Then, using the nonlinear coherent state approach and based on a simple manner by which the representation of two-mode charge coherent states is introduced, we generalize the bosonic creation and annihilation operators to the f -deformed ladder operators and construct a new class of f -deformed charge coherent states. Unlike the (linear) pair coherent states, our presented structure has the potential to generate a large class of pair coherent states with various nonclassicality signs and physical properties which are of interest. For this purpose, we use a few well-known nonlinearity functions associated with particular quantum systems as some physical appearances of our presented formalism. After introducing the explicit form of the above correlated states in the two-mode Fock space, several nonclassicality features of the corresponding states (as well as the two-mode linear charge coherent states) are numerically investigated by calculating quadrature squeezing, the Mandel parameter, the second-order correlation function, the second-order correlation function between the two modes and the Cauchy–Schwartz inequality. Also, the oscillatory behaviour of the photon count and the quasi-probability (Husimi) function of the associated states will be discussed. This article is part of a special issue of Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical devoted to ‘Coherent states: mathematical and physical aspects’.

Maximally Entangled SU(1,1) Semi Coherent States

A.‐S. F. Obada, M. M. A. Ahmed, Hoda A. Ali +2 more

Abstract In this paper, we consider a special type of maximally entangled states namely by entangled SU(1,1) semi coherent states by using SU(1,1) semi coherent states(SU(1,1) Semi CS). The entanglement characteristics of these entangled states are studied by evaluating the concurrence. We investigate some of their nonclassical properties, especially probability distribution function,second-order correlation function and quadrature squeezing . Further, the quasiprobability distribution functions (Q-functions) is discussed.
