Enhancement of fidelity of quantum teleportation in a non-Markovian environment

Abstract

We investigate quantum teleportation of a single unknown qubit state for the dissipative situation in which both qubits of the entangled channels that are formed by the pure and mixed maximally entangled states are subjected to local structured reservoirs. We consider the dissipative factors in Markovian and non-Markovian regimes on the average fidelity of the teleportation by solving the quantum master equation. It is shown that the fidelity of teleportation decreases exponentially over time in Markovian environments and attenuates oscillatorily in non-Markovian ones. In addition, when the non-Markovian and detuning conditions are satisfied simultaneously, the fidelity increases as the detuning increases. Even with a lower purity of entanglement, fidelity can be preserved effectively at comparatively high levels.

Effects of Markovian and Non-Markovian Environments on Quantum Teleportation

Liang-Ming He, Nong Wang

We investigate the fidelity and the linear entropy of teleportation using a shared two qubit initially maximally entangled state as a quantum channel, in which one qubit interacts with a two-state system named as the probe particle in a reservoir by dispersive atom-field coupling. Without the coupling of the probe particle with the reservoir, the quantum channel state is a pure state but not an initially maximally entangled state under the influence of the probe particle, and thus Bob obtains a pure state with an average fidelity fluctuating between 2/3 and 1 with time t. In the cases of the probe particle coupling with the reservoir the Markovian and non-Markovian dynamics of such a quantum channel are discussed in detail to show the influence of the reservoir on teleportation. The quantum channel state is a mixed state, but its entanglement does not die under the influence of the reservoir. It is found that, for a given teleported state, the fidelity and the linear entropy both evolve asymptotically to their fixed values, respectively, which are relative to the decay rate γ (Markovian) or to the pseudomode decay rate Γ (non-Markovian). Furthermore, when time t ≫ γ^(-1) and t ≫ Γ^(-1), the average fidelity increases with the augments of γ and Γ, while it decreases with the aggrandizement of the dispersive interaction strength κ.

ENHANCED QUANTUM TELEPORTATION IN NON-MARKOVIAN ENVIRONMENTS

Xiang Hao, Shiqun Zhu

The protocol of the teleportation of an arbitrary unknown one-qubit state is investigated when the quantum channel is subject to the decoherence from the non-Markovian environments with the memory effects. The quality of the teleportation measured by the average fidelity and minimal fidelity can be enhanced in the non-Markovian channel. The memory effects give rise to the revival of the fidelity which is better than that obtained by the Markovian channel.

Teleportation of the one-qubit state in decoherence environments

Ming-Liang Hu

We study standard quantum teleportation of a one-qubit state for the situation in which the channel is subject to decoherence, and where the evolution of the channel state is ruled by a master equation in the Lindblad form. A detailed calculation reveals that the quality of teleportation is determined by both the entanglement and the purity of the channel state, and only the optimal matching of them ensures the highest fidelity of standard quantum teleportation. Also our results demonstrated that the decoherence induces distortion of the Bloch sphere for the output state with different rates in different directions, which implies that different input states will be teleported with different fidelities.

Quantum teleportation and dynamics of quantum coherence and metrological non-classical correlations for open two-qubit systems: A study of Markovian and non-Markovian regimes

Yassine Dakir, Abdallah Slaoui, Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed +2 more

We investigate the dynamics of non-classical correlations and quantum coherence in open quantum systems by employing metrics like local quantum Fisher information, local quantum uncertainty, and quantum Jensen-Shannon divergence. Our focus here is on a system of two qubits in two distinct physical situations: the first one when the two qubits are coupled to a single-mode cavity, while the second consists of two qubits immersed in dephasing reservoirs. Our study places significant emphasis on how the evolution of these quantum criterion is influenced by the initial state's purity (whether pure or mixed) and the nature of the environment (whether Markovian or non-Markovian). We observe that a decrease in the initial state's purity corresponds to a reduction in both quantum correlations and quantum coherence, whereas higher purity enhances these quantumness. Furthermore, we establish a quantum teleportation strategy based on the two different physical scenarios. In this approach, the resulting state of the two qubits functions as a quantum channel integrated into a quantum teleportation protocol. We also analyze how the purity of the initial state and the Markovian or non-Markovian regimes impact the quantum teleportation process.

Robust quantum teleportation via a non-Markovian channel

Yanfang Wang, Shibei Xue, Hongbin Song +1 more

In this paper we propose a non-Markovian quantum channel approach to mitigating the degradation of the average fidelity in continuous-variable quantum teleportation. The non-Markovian quantum channel is modeled by an augmented system where ancillary systems are introduced to represent the internal modes of non-Markovian environments. With a proper non-Markovianity, enhanced effects of the channels on continuous-variable quantum teleportation are observed. Also, the logarithmic negativity of entangled states can be effectively maintained so that the decay of the average fidelity of quantum teleportation is mitigated. In addition, the analysis on different teleported quantum states shows that coherent states exhibit stronger robustness than those of squeezed states and cat states in quantum teleportation with a non-Markovian channel.

Effect of parity-time symmetric operator on quantum teleportation under the non-Markovian environment

Fei Chen, Yang Leng

Abstract We investigate the effect of local parity-time ( PT ) symmetric operation on quantum teleportation in non-Markovian environments, focusing on resonant and off-resonant regimes. An exactly solvable two-qubit model with independent structured reservoirs is built to derive the average teleportation fidelity. We show that the PT symmetric operation lead to oscillatory fidelity decay with local revivals instead of monotonic decay, and optimally PT symmetric operation can stably keep the average fidelity above the classical 2/3 limit even in off-resonant non-Markovian regimes, effectively protecting the quantum advantage of teleportation.
