Abstract

Using the supersymmetric quantum mechanics (SUSY) approach, we obtained analytical approximate solutions to the Dirac equation with an improved Tietz diatomic potential function under spin and pseudospin symmetries. The energy eigenvalues equation and the corresponding wave spinor for the two symmetries have been explicitly obtained. The non relativistic limit of the spin symmetry has been obtained. The solution of Morse, Deng-Fan, and Rosen-Morse were obtained by changing the numerical value of q We have also obtained the thermodynamic properties of a system under the improved Tietz potential function.

Analytical Solution of Dirac Equation for q-Deformed Hyperbolic Manning-Rosen Potential in D Dimensions using SUSY QM and its Thermodynamics'Application

C. Cari, Suparmi Suparmi, Mohtar Yunianto +1 more

The Dirac equation of q-deformed hyperbolic Manning Rosen potential in D dimension was solved by using Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics (SUSY QM). The D dimensional relativistic energy spectra were obtained by using SUSY QM and shape invariant properties and D dimensional wave functions of q-deformed hyperbolic Manning Rosen potential were obtained by using the SUSY raising and lowering operators. In the nonrelativistic limit, the relativistic energy spectra for exact spin symmetry case reduced into nonrelativistic energy spectra and so for the wave functions. In the classical regime, the partition function, the vibrational specific heat, and the vibrational mean energy of some diatomic molecules were calculated from the non-relativistic energy spectra with the help of error function and imaginary error function.

Diatomic Molecules with the Improved Deformed Generalized Deng–Fan Potential Plus Deformed Eckart Potential Model through the Solutions of the Modified Klein–Gordon and Schrödinger Equations within NCQM Symmetries

Abdelmadjid Maireche

In this study, the deformed Klein–Gordon equation and Schr¨odinger equations were solved with the improved deformed generalized Deng–Fan potential plus the deformed Eckart potential (IDGDFDE-P, in short) model using Bopp’s shift and standard perturbation theory methods in the symmetries of extended quantum mechanics. By employing the improved approximation to the centrifugal term, the relativistic and nonrelativistic bound-state energies are obtained for some selected diatomic molecules such as N2, I2, HCl, CH, LiH, and CO. The relativistic energy shift ΔEtotdfe (n, a, c, b, V0, V1, V2, Θ, σ, χ, j, l, s, m) and the perturbative nonrelativistic corrections ΔEnrdfe (n, α, c, b, V0, V1, V2, Θ, σ, χ, j, l, s, m) appeared as functions of the parameters (α, c, b, V0, V1, V2) and the parameters of noncommutativity (Θ, σ, χ), in addition to the atomic quantum numbers (n, j, l, s, m). In both relativistic and nonrelativistic problems, we show that the corrections to the energy spectrum are smaller than for the main energy in the ordinary cases of RQM and NRQM. A straightforward limit of our results to ordinary quantum mechanics shows that the present results under the IDGDFDE-P model is are consistent with what is obtained in the literature. In the new symmetries of noncommutative quantum mechanics (NCQM), it is not possible to get the exact analytical solutions for l = 0 and l ̸ = 0. Only the approximate ones can be obtained. We have clearly shown that the Schr¨odinger and Klein–Gordon equations in the new symmetries can physically describe two Dirac equations and the Duffin–Kemmer equation within the IDGDFDE-P model in the extended symmetries.

Eigensolution techniques, their applications and Fisherʼs information entropy of the Tietz–Wei diatomic molecular model

B. J. Falaye, K. J. Oyewumi, S M Ikhdair +1 more

In this study, approximate analytical solution of Schrödinger, Klein-Gordon and Dirac equations under the Tietz-Wei (TW) diatomic molecular potential are represented by using an approximation for the centrifugal term. We have applied three types of eigensolution techniques; the functional analysis approach (FAA), supersymmetry quantum mechanics (SUSYQM) and asymptotic iteration method (AIM) to solve Klein-Gordon Dirac and Schrödinger equations, respectively. The energy eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenfunctions for these three wave equations are obtained and some numerical results and figures are reported. It has been shown that these techniques yielded exactly same results. some expectation values of the TW diatomic molecular potential within the framework of the Hellmann-Feynman theorem (HFT) have been presented. The probability distributions which characterize the quantum-mechanical states of TW diatomic molecular potential are analysed by means of complementary information measures of a probability distribution called the Fishers information entropy. This distribution has been described in terms of Jacobi polynomials, whose characteristics are controlled by the quantum numbers.

Study of energies spectra and thermodynamic properties of the relativistic Dirac equation using Feynman path integral method

Mohamed Douici, Hocine Boukabcha, Rachid Fermous

Abstract In the current paper, the contribution of a Coulomb-like potential tensor interaction on the solution of the Dirac equation with a new generalized Morse-like potential is investigated using the Feynman path integral method. Relativistic and non-relativistic energy spectra were obtained. It has been established that the Coulomb-like potential eliminates the degeneracy of all pairs of spin doublets. Using the resulting non-relativistic energy eigenvalues equation, three diatomic molecules (H2, LiH, and HCl) were investigated and their thermodynamic properties, including mean energy, free energy, entropy, and specific heat capacity were shown. A comparison with the available literature shows that the thermodynamic plots obtained are consistent with previous work.

Exact Solution of Dirac Equation for q-Deformed Trigonometric Scarf potential with q-Deformed Trigonometric Tensor Coupling Potential for Spin and Pseudospin Symmetries Using Romanovski Polynomial

Suparmi Suparmi, C. Cari, Utama Alan Deta +2 more

The bound state solutions of Dirac equation for q-deformed trigonometric Scarf potential with q-deformed trigonometric cotangent and cosecant tensor coupling potential under spin and pseudospin symmetric limits are investigated using Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics (SUSY QM) method. The new tensor potentials proposed is inspired by superpotential form in SUSY quantum mechanics. The Dirac equations for Scarf potential coupled by new tensor potential in the pseudospin and spin symmetric cases reduce to Schrodinger type equations for shape invariant potential since the proposed new potentials are equivalent to the superpotential of q-deformed trigonometric Scarf potential. The relativistic wave functions are exactly obtained by using SUSY operator method and the relativistic energy equation are exactly obtained by using SUSY method and the idea of shape invariance in the approximation scheme of centrifugal term. The new tensor potential causes the energy degeneracies is omit both for pseudospin and spin symmetric case.

New relativistic and nonrelativistic model of diatomic molecules and fermionic particles interacting with improved modified Mobius potential in the framework of noncommutative quantum mechanics symmetries

Abdelmadjid Maireche

In this study, the deformed Klein–Gordon equation, Dirac equation, and Schrödinger equations were solved with the improved the modified Mobius square potential model (IMSPM, in short) using Bopp’s shift and standard perturbation theory methods in the symmetries of extended quantum mechanics. By employing the improved approximation to the centrifugal term, the relativistic and nonrelativistic bound state energies were obtained for some selected diatomic molecules (H2, I2, CO, NO, and HCl). The relativistic shift energy ΔEtotmsp(n,α,A,B,V0,Θ,σ,χ,j,l,s,m) and the perturbative nonrelativistic corrections ΔEnrmsp(n,α,A,B,V0,Θ,σ,χ,j,l,s,m) appeared as a function of the parameters (α,A,B,V0), the parameters of noncommutativity (Θ,σ,χ), in addition to the atomic quantum numbers (n,j,l,s,m). In the new symmetries of NCQM, is not possible to get the exact analytical solutions for l=0 and l≠0 can only be solved approximately. Through this research, we came to two noteworthy results, the first is related to the deformed Klein-Gordon equation under the influence of the improved modified Mobius square potential model becomes equivalent to the Duffin-Kemmer equation for a meson with spin-s, while the second result concerns the deformed Schrödinger equation, which can now describe the state of high-energy fermionic particles similar to the Dirac equation in the literature.
