Optimal entropy squeezing sudden generation and its control for an effective two-level moving atom entanglement with the two-mode coherent fields

Xiaojuan Liu, Zhou Yuan-Jun, Mao-Fa Fang

From the viewpoint of quantum information, this paper proposes a concept and a definition of the atomic optimal entropy squeezing sudden generation (AOESSG) for the system of an effective two-level moving atom which entangles with the two-mode coherent fields. It also researches the relationship between the AOESSG and entanglement sudden death of the atom-fields, and discusses the influences of atomic initial state on the AOESSG and obtains the system parameter which controls the AOESSG.

Robust entanglement control between two atoms in a cavity using sampling-based learning control

Mohamed A. Mabrok, Daoyi Dong, Chunlin Chen +1 more

In this paper, a sampling-based learning control (SLC) algorithm is used to find a robust control law that can steer a quantum system with uncertainties into a maximally entangled state. The quantum system under consideration consists of two two-level atoms interacting with a quantized electromagnetic field. In the sampling-based learning control method, an artificial system is constructed based on the quantum system with uncertainties and an optimal control law is learned for the artificial system. Some additional samples which are generated by sampling the uncertainty parameters are used to test the performance of the optimal control law. Numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the SLC method in finding a robust control law for entanglement generation between two atoms in a cavity in the presence of a quantized field.

Controlling entanglement between two separated atoms by quantum-jump-based feedback

Dong Xue, Jian Zou, Jungang Li +2 more

We consider a model consisting of two (two-level) atoms which are placed in two separated heavily damped cavities respectively. We show that the quantum-jump-based feedback based on joint measurement can be used to generate a steady entangled state between two atoms against decoherence. We analyse the effects of general local control Hamiltonians in the performance of entanglement production and show that by choosing a proper control Hamiltonian the steady maximal entanglement between two separated atoms can be protected.
