Abstract

This Tech–Science text of article dedicated to the QUANTUM ACOUSTIC Sensu Stricto says about phonons, the sound quazi–particles elements, which are very interesting in nano, micro, makro scales of nature. This New Concept of QUANTUM ACOUSTIC PHYSICS OR QUANTUM PHYSICS OF SOUND IS ILLUSTRATED ON EMPIRIO–CRITICISM PHILOSOPHY OF EXPERIMENTAL PHYSICS OF MORAVIAN BORN PROFESSOR ERNST MACH, the text operated with subjects like MACH’S NUMBER, MACH’S CONE, MACH’S PRINCIPLE, MACH’S WAVEMACHINE. The Highlights is focused on Author’s Sketches in problematic connected with AERODYNAMICS AND AERONAUTICS.

Imrich Krištof

This publication is based on studies of The Moravian Masaryk University, Professor RNDr. Josef Havel, Dr.Sc., from Department of Analytical Chemistry and Department of Physical Electronics. The significant subject of the work is an application of ANN (ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK, with MALDI–TOF SPECTROMETRY, HPLC (High Pressure Liquid Chromatography), Electrophoresis and Research of AAS (ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROSCOPY). This text says about research of neutrinos and photons, wimp’s like an application of construction of QUANTUM ANN COMPUTER. The Article consists of study an introduction of Author and Prof. RNDr. J. Havel, Dr.Sc. theme of mineralogy and biology and geography and scientific cooperation from the year 2004, study generally could be known like soil computation. The second part of this publication is dedicated to short History of Computational Science. The third part says about Highlights of this article, concretely Author’s sketches of a quantum computer. The fourth part talks about results from continual measuring of statistical data from project SAGE 37Ar neutrino source experiment (SAGE -> SOVIET–AMERICAN– 71GERMANIUM–71GALIUM EXPERIMENT IN CAUCASCUS BAKSAN. Fifth part is connected with METHODS (KATRIN AND TROITSK NU–MASS). Sixth part is focused to conclusions of Research of neutrinos and other quanticles, namely photon proton, photon neutrino, neutrino photon and wimp’s.

Quantum Acoustics: A Unified Quantum Theory of Phonons Analogous to Quantum Optics

shifa liu

We develop quantum acoustics as an independent quantum discipline. The elementary bosonic quantum is the phonon, obtained by canonical quantization of the elastic displacement field of a medium. The central replacement is c → cs, ε0 → ρ0, μ0 → 1/K, ℏ → ℏ, while the Planck constant is not replaced. Phonons obey canonical commutation relations, Bose–Einstein statistics with vanishing chemical potential, and energy quantization E = ℏω. The optical–acoustic dictionary is exact at the level of canonical quantization, mode algebra, Fock, coherent, squeezed, thermal and entangled states, and at the level of linear interference in the long-wavelength, single-branch, dissipationless limit. Multi-branch, dispersive, dissipative and finite-lifetime effects are handled by the generalized dictionary stated in Chapter 56. Quantum acoustics contains a macroscopic quantum branch, but it is not identical to macro- scopic quantum mechanics. The manuscript covers classical elasticity, variational principles, canonical quantization, phonon field algebra, propagators, Green functions, wave–particle duality, Bose–Einstein statistics, blackbody radiation, Debye heat capacity, acoustic quantum constants, acoustic Bekenstein–Hawking entropy, phonon thermodynamics, phonon BEC, phonon lasers, superfluidity, Fock, coherent, squeezed, thermal, entangled and non-classical states, beam splitters, Mach–Zehnder interferometers, Fabry–Perot cavities, Hong–Ou–Mandel interference, second-order coherence, phonon qubits, single- and two-qubit gates, quantum algorithms, quantum error correction and surface-code thresholds, quantum computing architecture, quantum networks and repeaters, quantum simulation, quantum sensing, topological phononic crystals, the SSH phonon model, two-dimensional topological phononic insulators, three-dimensional phonon Weyl semimetals, non-Hermitian acoustics and the phonon skin effect, non-Bloch band theory, topological defect classification, acoustic metrics, acoustic horizons, acoustic Hawking radiation, acoustic black- hole entropy and the information paradox, acoustic cosmology, phonon–graviton mixing, gravitational-wave coupling, the phonon analogy of dark matter and dark energy, surface acoustic wave resonators, optomechanical systems, superconducting qubit–phonon hybrid systems, Bose–Einstein condensates, phononic crystals, acoustic metamaterials, gravitational-wave detectors, the complete optical–acoustic dictionary, the generalized dictionary for multi-branch, dispersive, dissipative and finite-lifetime phonons, and strong-field QED vacuum and media as an analogue of multi-refringent, dispersive and dissipative media. Acoustic Hawking radiation has been observed in Bose–Einstein condensates by Steinhauer (2016). All definitions, derivations, mathematical details, experimental proposals and comparison factors are presented with explicit assumptions and complete proofs.

Review of Carlo Rovelli’s Book “Helgoland: The Wonderful and Strange World of Quantum Physics”

Andrey Yu. Sevalnikov

This review is dedicated to a critical analysis of C. Rovelli’s book Helgoland: The Strange and Beautiful Story of Quantum Physics. The author presents the history of the emergence of quantum mechanics, primarily focusing on Heisenberg’s matrix formalism and the advent of the Schrodinger equation, in an engaging and lucid manner. For the Russian reader, the book is of additional interest as it examines the polemic between V.I. Lenin and A.A. Bogdanov surrounding the former’s work, Materialism and Empirio-criticism. Rovelli himself aligns with Bogdanov’s position, which is connected to E. Mach’s relational philosophy. In his book, much like Mach, Rovelli rejects the mechanistic assumption of a reality based on objects moving in space and time. Building upon this relational approach, Rovelli unfolds his own radical framework for interpreting quantum theory. Furthermore, he espouses a position akin to Nāgārjuna’s concept of the “emptiness” (śūnyatā) of the intrinsic nature of things. The review also examines certain contradictions inherent in this approach from a physics perspective.

GREEK PHILOSOPHY FOR QUANTUM PHYSICS. THE RETURN TO THE GREEKS IN THE WORKS OF HEISENBERG, PAULI AND SCHRÖDINGER

Raimundo Fernández Mouján

Werner Heisenberg, Erwin Schrodinger and Wolfgang Pauli exhibited in their works a strong and insistent interest in Greek philosophy. And this interest --they claimed-- was not at all separated from their investigations into the new quantum theory. Heisenberg directly armed that "one could hardly make progress in modern atomic physics without a knowledge of Greek natural philosophy". What does this claim mean? Why do these central gures in the development of quantum mechanics saw the Greeks as their main inspiring source? Why do they took them as a model for contemporary science, even over their modern predecessors of Enlightenment? This work attempts to answer these questions focusing on three main reasons: the revision of atomism, the recasting of the meaning of "understanding" in physics, and the critique of separations in science.
