FDT for fluctuations of a special perturbated harmonic oscillator and its application in q-deformed Harmonic Oscillator

Huangcheng Yin

Abstract In this paper, we will use fluctuation dissipation theorem on the harmonic oscillator with time correlation creation annihilation operator as the perturbated term and through calculation, we find that the exact value of the dissipation associated Imχ of this special perturbation harmonic oscillator is exactly equal to π. Next, we give its potential application in the q-deformed harmonic oscillator, which means connect the q-deformed harmonic oscillator with fluctuation dissipation.

The dynamics of a quantum harmonic oscillator in a dissipative environment

V. Yu. Golyshev

The time evolution of the full density matrix was studied for a quantum system comprising a quantum harmonic oscillator in a dissipative environment described by a system of oscillators. The problem was solved in the case of a frequency-independent ohmic dissipation for the oscillator in the ground state at the initial time instant.

Dissipation-boosted entanglement in coupled harmonic oscillators

Chaitanya S. Joshi, Michael J. W. Hall, M. Jonson +2 more

We show that entanglement in initially classical states of coupled harmonic oscillators, caused by squeezing, is enhanced by dissipation. The enhancement vanishes if the oscillator baths are identical, suggesting that “heat flow” may be necessary.
