Stationary quantum correlation and coherence of two-mode Kerr nonlinear coupler interdicting with Su(2)-system under intrinsic damping

Abstract

A two-level atom interacting with two nonlinear Kerr oscillators pumped by an optical parametric process is studied. An analytical solution for the dynamical evolution of an interaction between Su(1,1) and Su(2)-systems is derived. The role of intrinsic damping, detuning, and Kerr-like medium on the entanglement evolution, quantum correlation, and coherence is elucidated. It is shown that the intrinsic decoherence leads to the sudden death and sudden birth entanglement, while the detuning eradicates these effects. The quantum coherence growth can be controlled by the detuning and the Kerr-like medium.

Sudden death and birth of entanglement effects for Kerr-nonlinear coupler

A. Kowalewska-Kudłaszyk, W. Leoński

We analyze the entanglement dynamics in a nonlinear Kerr-like coupler interacting with external environment. Whenever the reservoir is in a thermal vacuum state, the entanglement (measured by concurrence for a two-qubit system) exhibits regular oscillations of decreasing amplitude. In contrast, for thermal reservoirs we can observe dark periods in concurrence oscillations (which can be called a sudden death of the entanglement) and the entanglement rebuild (which can be named the sudden birth of entanglement). We show that these features can be observed when we deal with two-qubit system as well as qubit-qutrit system.

Robustness of Quantum Correlations in Entangled Two su(2) Systems Non-mutually Interacting with su(1, 1) System under Intrinsic Decoherence

A.‐B. A. Mohamed, M. Sebaweh Abdalla, A.‐S. F. Obada

Two two-level systems generated by su(2) algebra are initially prepared in a maximum nonsymmetric Bell state and having no mutual interaction. Each su(2)-system spatially interacts with two-mode cavity field in the nondegenerate parametric amplifier type cast through operators governed by su(1, 1) Lie algebra. An analytical description for the time evolution of the final state of the total system with the effect of intrinsic decoherence is found. Therefore, the robustness of the quantum correlations between the two su(2)-system is investigated by means of geometric quantum discord, measurement-induced nonlocality and negativity. We analyze in some detail the influence of initial coherence intensities, detuning and phase decoherence parameters on the steady-state correlation. We find that the steady-state correlations can be generated and enhanced by controlling the parameters of: the initial coherence intensities, the Bargmman index and the detuning. It is shown that the phenomenon of sudden death and re-birth of entanglement, and the sudden changes of the geometric quantum correlation can be controlled by these parameters. We find that the robustness of the quantum correlation can be greatly enhanced by the Bargmman index and the resonance detuning. Negativity is the measure most susceptible to phase decoherence, while geometric quantum discord and measurement-induced nonlocality are the more robust measures.

A study of a nonlinear interaction between a two-mode cavity field and ♢-type four-level with field damping

A.‐S. F. Obada, M. M. A. Ahmed, A. A. Eied +2 more

In this paper, the effects of the field damping and Kerr-like medium on a system of a four-level atom in the [Formula: see text]-type interacting nonlinearly with a two-mode field are studied. Analytical solution of the system of differential equations resulting from the Schrödinger equation is obtained. The effects of detuning parameters, Kerr-like parameter, coupling function and damping rate are discussed for atomic population inversion, the second-order correlation function, Shannon information entropy, and linear entropy. Under justifiable all conditions, extreme entanglement states may appear periodically with the evolution of time. The arrival of the quantum system to a pure state can be controlled by variations of the Kerr medium and the damping parameters. The results also exhibit that the periods of strong and weak entanglement between the parts of the system are achieved during the periods of collapses and revivals of the atomic population inversion. Moreover, the photon distribution changes from non-classical to classical by increasing the damping rate.

Skew information correlations beyond entanglement in dissipative two Su(2)-systems

A.‐B. A. Mohamed, Hichem Eleuch

We investigate the dynamics of quantum correlations [including skew information correlations beyond entanglement] of two isolated Su(2)-systems that are initially in a maximum Bell state or in a separable state. Each Su(2)-system is interacting with two-mode Su(1,1) coherent states. The time evolution of the density matrix of the two Su(2)-systems with the effect of intrinsic decoherence is analytically explored. The robustness of the initial quantum correlations for several initial coherence intensities, detunings, and intrinsic decoherences, is investigated. The robustness analysis of various correlation functions is based on the concurrence and quantum skew information. It is shown that the phenomena of sudden death and birth entanglement, and the sudden changes of local quantum uncertainty can be controlled. The correlations of the skew information present good robustness against the intrinsic decoherence and the detuning.

Non-local correlation between two coupled qubits interacting nonlinearly with a two-mode cavity: Bell function, Trace norm and Bures distance quantifiers

A-B A Mohamed, Eied Mahmoud Khalil, S. Abdel‐Khalek

Abstract In this paper, we study the dynamics of two coupled qubits interacting with a two-mode parametric amplifier cavity through the nonlinear interactions of the photon processes under the intrinsic decoherence. The nonlinear unitary interactions lead to generating different types of nonlocal correlations via Bell nonlocality, trace-norm measurement-induced non-locality (MIN), and Bures-distance entanglement. Based on the intrinsic decoherence, the two-qubit states have stationary amounts of the MIN-correlation and Bures distance entanglement with more stability. It is found that the qubit–qubit interaction coupling is affected as additional decoherence. It leads to more oscillations and stability. The enhancement of the amount of the generated nonlocal correlations depends on the superposition of Barut-Girardello coherent states. The phenomenon of sudden birth/death and the Bell non-locality can be enhanced when the two-mode parametric amplifier cavity is initially prepared in the coherent states.

Entanglement of two two-level atoms trapped in coupled cavities with a Kerr medium

Qin Wu, Zhi‐Ming Zhang

In this paper, the entanglement dynamics of two two-level atoms trapped in coupled cavities with a Kerr medium is investigated. We find that the phenomena of entanglement sudden death (ESD) and entanglement sudden birth (ESB) appear during the evolution process. The influences of initial atomic states, Kerr medium, and cavity—cavity hopping rate on the atom—atom entanglement are discussed. The results obtained by the numerical method show that the atom—atom entanglement is strengthened and even prevented from ESD with increasing cavity—cavity hopping rate and Kerr nonlinearity.
