Abstract

Considered is the impact of collisions with the change of the particles velocity in the 174 Yb vapor exerted on the information reproducibility in the stimulated echo hologram response, encoded in the temporal form of the second object laser pulse. It was manifested that such collisions result in the increase of the "spurious" information, serving the background for loosing information introduced into the object laser pulse in the stimulated echo hologram response.

The influence of collisions on the temporary shape of stimulated echo hologram in gas

Е. Н. Ахмедшина, Leonid A. Nefediev, Guzel I. Garnaeva +1 more

In this paper, we investigate the influence of collisions with the change of particle velocity direction in a gas on the reproduction of the temporary shape of the object laser pulse in the stimulated echo hologram response. Due to such collisions, the frequency shifts of the radiation of atoms in the gas randomly vary (spectral diffusion within the heterogeneously broadened line). It is shown, that such diffusion leads to the not correlated heterogeneous broadening in the gas at the different time intervals and the partial loss of system phase memory, which results in a partial loss of retrieved information encoded in the temporal form of the object laser pulse.

АЛГОРИТМЫ ПРЕОБРАЗОВАНИЯ ИНФОРМАЦИИ В ЭХО-ГОЛОГРАФИИ

Guzel I. Garnaeva, L. A. Nefedev, É. I. Khakimzyanova

The filtration of optical signals and the transformation of information using stimulated echo-holography in the case when its excitation occurs with the use of an object laser pulse carrying information and a pulse that acts as a frequency filter are considered. It is shown that the temporal form of the signal of the stimulated echo-hologram depends on the duration, amplitude, and area and time structure of the exciting pulses.

Two-frequency information recording in a three-level system using stimulated photon echo

Guzel I. Garnaeva, Leonid A. Nefediev, Е. Н. Ахмедшина +1 more

The process of recording and reproducing information in a three-level system using stimulated photon echo is studied as a function of the amount of information embedded in the first and second two-frequency object laser pulses. It is shown that two-frequency information recording leads to an increase in the power of the stimulated photon echo response on one frequency transition and to its reduction on the other.

How the information-flux density in stimulated photon echo depends on the statistical characteristics of the object laser pulse

А. Р. Сахбиева, L. A. Nefedev, Е. Н. Ахмедшина

This paper discusses how the statistical characteristics of an object laser pulse affect the efficiency with which the information encoded in its temporal shape is reproduced. The dependence of the information-flux density in stimulated photon echo on the area of the object pulse is determined in two-level and three-level systems.

Recording and reproducing information with various encoding schemes, using stimulated photon echo in a three-level system

Guzel I. Garnaeva, L. A. Nefedev, É. I. Khakimzyanova +1 more

This paper discusses how external spatially inhomogeneous electric fields affect information reproduction in the stimulated-photon-echo response in a three-level system when the information is encoded in the temporal shape of the object pulse and in the time intervals of an echelon of laser pulses taken as the object pulse. The information-locking effect for various encoding schemes is investigated for various unequal spacings of the spectrum of a three-level system.
