Abstract

Phase transitions and thermodynamic properties have been studied in the two-dimensional antiferromagnetic Ising model on a Kagome lattice by the Monte Carlo method with consideration for both nearest- and next-nearest-neighbor interaction. Using the histogram data analysis method, it has been shown that the studied model is characterized by a second-order phase transition. The temperature dependence of thermodynamic parameters has been revealed to exhibit abnormal behavior.

Phase transitions and thermodynamic properties of antiferromagnetic Ising model with next-nearest-neighbor interactions on the Kagomé lattice

We study phase transitions and thermodynamic properties in the two-dimensional antiferromagnetic Ising model with next-nearest-neighbor interaction on a Kagomé lattice by Monte Carlo simulations. A histogram data analysis shows that a second-order transition occurs in the model. From the analysis of obtained data, we can assume that next-nearest-neighbor ferromagnetic interactions in two-dimensional antiferromagnetic Ising model on a Kagomé lattice excite the occurrence of a second-order transition and unusual behavior of thermodynamic properties on the temperature dependence.

Phase transitions in the antiferromagnetic ising model on a square lattice with next-nearest-neighbor interactions

Akai Kurbanovich Murtazaev, Рамазанов Магомедшейх Курбанович, Felix A. Kassan-Ogly +1 more

The phase transitions in the two-dimensional Ising model on a square lattice are studied using a replica algorithm, the Monte Carlo method, and histogram analysis with allowance for the next-nearest-neighbor interactions in the range 0.1 ≤ r < 1.0. A phase diagram is constructed for the dependence of the critical temperature on the next-nearest-neighbor interaction. A second-order phase transition is detected in this range and the model under study.

Phase transitions in the antiferromagnetic Ising model on a body-centered cubic lattice with interactions between next-to-nearest neighbors

Akai Kurbanovich Murtazaev, Рамазанов Магомедшейх Курбанович, Felix A. Kassan-Ogly +1 more

Phase transitions in the antiferromagnetic Ising model on a body-centered cubic lattice are studied on the basis of the replica algorithm by the Monte Carlo method and histogram analysis taking into account the interaction of next-to-nearest neighbors. The phase diagram of the dependence of the critical temperature on the intensity of interaction of the next-to-nearest neighbors is constructed. It is found that a second-order phase transition is realized in this model in the investigated interval of the intensities of interaction of next-to-nearest neighbors.

Berezinskii-Kosterlitz-Thouless phase transitions of the antiferromagnetic Ising model with ferromagnetic next-nearest-neighbor interactions on the kagome lattice

Yutaka Okabe, Hiromi Otsuka

We investigate the six-state clock universality of the Ising model on the kagome lattice, considering antiferromagnetic nearest-neighbor (NN) and ferromagnetic next-nearest-neighbor (NNN) interactions. Our comprehensive study employs three approaches: the level-spectroscopy method, Monte Carlo simulations, and a machine-learning phase classification technique. In this system, we observe two Berezinskii-Kosterlitz-Thouless (BKT) transitions. We present a phase diagram consisting of three phases: the low-temperature ordered phase with sublattice magnetizations, the intermediate BKT phase, and the high-temperature disordered phase, as a function of the ratio of the NNN interaction to the NN interaction. We verify the six-state clock universality through the machine-learning study, which uses data from the six-state clock model on the kagome lattice for training.

Phase Transitions in Frustrated Ising Antiferromagnet on a Body-Centered Cubic Lattice with Next-Nearest Neighbor Interactions

Akai Kurbanovich Murtazaev, Рамазанов Магомедшейх Курбанович, Djuma R. Kurbanova

The phase transitions in antiferromagnetic Ising model are studied on a body-centered cubic lattice by taking the interactions of next-nearest neighbors into account. The model is investigated on basis of the replica Monte Carlo algorithm and the histogrammic analysis of data. The diagram of the critical temperature dependence on an interaction value of next-nearest neighbors is plotted. The studied model reveals the phase transitions of second order. A static magnetic critical indices is calculated using the finite-dimensional scaling theory.
