A multi-hop teleportation protocol of arbitrary four-qubit states through intermediate nodes

Abstract

Teleportation processes over long distances become affected by the almost inevitable existence of noise which interferes with the entangled quantum channels. In view of this, intermediate nodes are introduced in the scheme. These nodes are connected in series through quantum entanglement. In this paper, we present a protocol for transferring an entangled four-particle cluster-type state in an integrated manner through the intermediate nodes. Its efficiency and advantage over the corresponding part by part teleportation process is discussed.

A perfect multi-hop teleportation scheme for transfer of five-qubit entangled states using intermediate nodes

Binayak Samadder Choudhury, Soumen Samanta

In this paper, we consider a multi-hop teleportation protocol for transfer of certain five-qubit entangled states. The speciality of this protocol is that intermediate nodes between the sender and the receiver are introduced. Teleportation processes over long distances are problematic because of the existence of the environmental noise which is almost unavoidable and adversely affects the entangled quantum channel. With a view to the above, intermediate nodes are introduced which are connected in series by entanglement. These short range quantum channels minimize the risk of the protocol being affected by noise. The present protocol is performed in an integrated manner in which the parties in the intermediate nodes act independently. A remarkable feature of the protocol is that only 3.13% of the basis elements are involved in the measurements. We also calculate the efficiency and indicate the advantages of the present protocol. The work is in the direction of research for transferring entangled quantum states.

Multi-hop teleportation ofN-qubit state via Bell states

Negin Fatahi

Multi-hop teleportation is a quantum teleportation scheme for transferring quantum states on a large scale. In this paper, a new multi-hop teleportation protocol is investigated for transferring arbitrary N-qubit states between M-neighbor nodes. In this scheme, intermediate nodes are connected with each other by symmetric entangled Bell states as quantum channels. First, one-hop teleportation of single-qubit, two-qubit and N-qubit states are introduced, then this method is generalized to two-hop and multi-hop teleportation for N-qubit. Also, we calculate the efficiency of this scheme.

Research Paper: Multi-hop Quantum Teleportation Scheme of the 6-Qubit Entangled State by Intermediate Nodes with the Best Efficiency

Negin Fatahi

Quantum multi-hop teleportation is important in the field of quantum communication. In this paper, we proposed a Multi-hop quantum teleportation scheme of the 6-qubit entangled state. In the proposed scheme, the sender teleports the desired information by transmitting a 6-qubit entangled quantum state to the receiver through the N intermediate nodes between the source node and destination node. Therefore, the sender and receiver are not in direct connection with each other, and the information is teleported in Multi-hop between the N neighbor nodes. Also, in this scheme, the 7-qubit entangled states as quantum channels are shared between neighbor nodes. Always, teleportation processes over long distances are problematic because of the existence of the environmental noise which is almost inescapable and adversely affects the entangled quantum channel. This scheme explains the quantum teleportation between N nodes in N-1 steps and it is suitable for teleportation processes over long distances. Also, we calculate the efficiency of this scheme and indicate the advantages of this protocol.

Multi-hop quantum teleportation of a N-qubit quantum state by using cluster state

Negin Fatahi, Sajjad Parsamehr

In this study, a new multi-hop quantum teleportation is investigated for transferring a N-qubit quantum state which compared with previous protocols can give a more efficient data teleportation. In proposed scheme, quantum channels among adjacent nodes are built based on ([Formula: see text])-qubit cluster state. The source node and all intermediate nodes perform measurement and announce outcome results to the destination node through the classical channel. Finally, the destination node can recover the desired quantum state by applying the appropriate unitary operators on the state it has. Also, in order to explain the details of this scheme, the multi-hop quantum teleportation of 6-qubit quantum state by using 7-qubit cluster state investigate and calculate its efficiency.

Large teleportation of two-qubit state between non-neighboring nodes based on the utilization of multiple cluster states within quantum networks

Hanane El Hadfi, Meryem El Kirdi, L.B. Drissi +1 more

Abstract The transmission of quantum states over extended distances is constrained by photon losses, ruling out direct amplification akin to classical telecommunications due to the non-cloning theorem. Overcoming this challenge involves implementing quantum repeater protocols that leverage entanglement swapping to create long-distance entanglement from shorter distances. A novel multi-hop quantum teleportation scheme, blending concepts from quantum repeaters and teleportation, is under exploration. It aims to transfer arbitrary two-qubit states between two distant parties, even in the absence of a direct quantum channel. Intermediate nodes, connected via a four-qubit entangled cluster state as quantum channels, are introduced based on a more general routing protocol. Bell measurements are independently conducted by the source node (Alice) and all intermediate nodes, with simultaneous transmission of measurement results, significantly reducing time consumption. Determining the quantum state from Bell measurement results requires only the destination node (Bob) for a simple unitary transformation. Moreover, this protocol holds promise for implementation on the IBM Quantum Experience platform once the requisite quantum circuits are designed. This overview encompasses both the theoretical and simulated status of the proposed scheme, with simulated findings incorporated into quantum state tomography to verify the accuracy of the transmitted quantum state.

Multi-hop fault-tolerant teleportation of arbitrary two-qubit states with cluster channel

Tiantian Meng, Yuzhen Wei, Hong Chen +2 more

In this paper, we propose one multi-hop fault-tolerant teleportation scheme leveraging non-maximally entangled cluster states as the quantum channel, which is crucial for efficient transmission over extended distances. During quantum communication, environmental noise may introduce operational errors between adjacent nodes. In order to uphold the maximum transmission efficiency, error correction operations are exclusively conducted by the ultimate receiver rather than intermediate nodes. Error outcomes from each node can be synchronously relayed to the receiver via the classical channel, effectively diminishing the delays and operational intricacies, thereby significantly bolstering the transmission efficiency. Moreover, we utilize the Quirk simulation software to simulate the teleportation process.
