Through the decipherment of the three copies of the new physics philosophy, the author clarifies his own quantum mechanics philosophy view and the comprehension of the general theory of Relativity,at the same time, from the particular angle of view the author expresses that the local physics philosophy research is in the renewal now.

In Search of Reality

R. T. Longo

In this paper I will discuss the underlying philosophy of physics. A new definition of observer is presented, then the meaning of two words, ex-istence and reality, will be re-examined. With changes made for these three items a new philosophy emerges that allows an examination of the concepts of cause and effect, time, space and how mathematics enters into physics. The new philosophy suggests a structure of the universe that indicates both an understanding of the double slit ex-periment and a new approach to the quantization and root cause of gravitation.

Introduction to The Philosophy of Physics: Volume 2 of the North-Holland series, the Handbook of the Philosophy of Science

Jeremy Butterfield, John Earman

This is the editors' introduction to a new anthology of commissioned articles covering the various branches of philosophy of physics. We introduce the articles in terms of the three pillars of modern physics: relativity theory, quantum theory and thermal physics. We end by discussing the present state, and future prospects, of fundamental physics.
