Quantum Entanglement Topological Networks

Jincheng Zhang

Quantum entanglement, a fundamental aspect of quantum mechanics, offers the potential for unprecedented computational capabilities and secure communication. This paper explores the development of a quantum entanglement topological network as a framework for simulating complex systems and investigating its application in quantum information security. We propose a novel model centered on the manipulation of entanglement to facilitate information transfer and protection. This research aims to provide a robust and adaptable tool for understanding and harnessing the unique properties of entangled states within a topological network architecture. The exploration of this framework will contribute to advancing both theoretical understanding and practical applications in quantum information processing.

Majorana Qubits

Fabian Hassler

Contribution to the 44th IFF Spring School held at the Forschungszentrum Jülich in 2013 on "Quantum Information Processing". The notes include a pedagogic (but incomplete) introduction to Majorana fermions; especially paying attention to the usefulness for quantum information purposes. It contains an introduction to topological aspects of superconductors, braiding, physical implementations, and measurement of the quantum information using superconducting qubits.
