Nonequilibrium critical relaxation of structurally disordered systems in the short-time regime: Renormalization group description and computer simulation

Vladimir V. Prudnikov, Pavel Vladimirovich Prudnikov, Ivan A. Kalashnikov +1 more

The influence of nonequilibrium initial states on the evolution of anisotropic systems with quenched uncorrelated structural defects at the critical point is studied. The field-theoretical description of the nonequilibrium critical behavior of 3D systems is obtained for the first time, and the dynamic critical exponent of the short-time evolution in the two-loop approximation without the use of ɛ expansion is calculated. The values of dynamic critical exponents calculated using the series resummation methods are compared with the results of computer simulation of nonequilibrium critical behavior of the 3D disordered Ising model in the short-time regime. It is demonstrated that the values of the critical exponents calculated in this paper are in better agreement with the results of computer simulation than the results of application of ɛ expansion.

The influence of the external magnetic field on the phase transitions, thermodynamic and magnetic properties of the three-dimensional Ising model of antiferromagnetic on a body-centered cubic lattice taking into account the interactions of the second nearest neighbors is studied by the replica algorithm of the Monte Carlo method. A phase diagram of the dependence of the critical temperature on the external magnetic field has been constructed. It is shown that a second-order phase transition is observed in the considered range of magnetic field values

Critical Dynamics of Three-Dimensional Spin Systems with Long-Range Interactions

С. В. Белим

A field-theoretic description of critical behavior of Ising systems with long-range interactions is obtained in the two-loop approximation directly in the three-dimensional space. It is shown that long-range interactions affect the relaxation time of the system.

Using Monte Carlo simulations it was studied the non-equilibrium critical evolution in the three-dimensional site-diluted weakly and strongly disordered Ising model with spin concentrations p=0.80 and 0.60. The values of exponents for power-law time dependence of magnetization and the autocorrelation function were determined. The values of two independent dynamic critical exponents z and θ were calculated. They demonstrate a good agreement with results of theoretical-field description and results of experimental investigations for weakly diluted Ising-like systems, but show visible differences with values of these exponents for strongly disordered Ising systems.
