Abstract

In order to build a quantum signaling network with high survivability, quantum channel survival function and survivability of signaling network have been proposed based on the concept of fidelity. The survival coefficient in optical fiber or free space is analyzed, fidelity in noisy quantum channel with the decoherence mechanisms is calculated and survival function test model is proposed. Simulation analysis shows that, by reducing the quantum state transition rate, controlling fiber attenuation coefficient and atmospheric attenuation coefficient, decreasing the time of quantum states evolution, and setting quantum repeaters, we can construct a high survivability of quantum channel and provide a theoretical foundation for the formulation of quantum entanglement signaling network standard.

Poisson survival model of quantum entanglement signaling network and fidelity analysis

Min Nie, Zhang Lin, Liu Xiaohui

Quantum signaling states have decoherence because of the environment during the transmission. It causes signaling damage and thus will have impact on building high survivability quantum entanglement signaling network. In order to study the influence deeply, Poisson damage model of quantum signaling network is established. First, disaster magnitude is defined base on signaling fidelity. Second, average damage signaling quantum bits and survival function of quantum signaling network is put forward by basic quantum theory. At last, research on the signaling damage repair strategy and simulation is analyzed. Simulation results show that increasing of disaster magnitude will greatly reduce the signaling network survivability. However, increasing the nodes and controlling signaling damage caps may improve survivability. The repair strategy which costs small number of cycles can rapidly increase the signaling fidelity from 0.6 to 0.9 and the survival function of the signaling network from 0.4 to 0.9.

Analysis of the Effect of Atmospheric Turbulence on the Performance of Free-space Quantum Signal Transmission

Yan Kang, Min Nie, Changchun Xue +1 more

The effect of atmospheric turbulent environment on the performance of free-space quantum communication is analysed. Based on the existing mathematical model of atmospheric turbulent fluid motion, the three most influential physical factors, i.e. wind speed, temperature and humidity, are abstracted out and simulated to study the variation of quantum channel utilisation, quantum channel entanglement, channel capacity and fidelity in amplitude damped channels under the atmospheric turbulent environment parameters. After a comprehensive analysis of the simulation results, it can be preliminarily judged that an increase in all three physical factors will increase the intensity of atmospheric turbulence and reduce the performance of quantum communication, and the magnitude of the influence is: temperature > wind speed > humidity. Therefore, corresponding adjustment strategies should be adopted to improve the communication performance of quantum communication and ensure the reliability of communication.

Analysis of the influence of atmospheric aerosol on the attenuation of free space QKD channel

Ziao Wan, Yaping Li, Pengfei Gong +2 more

Quantum information technology is an emerging interdisciplinary field that utilizes the properties of quantum mechanics and combines classical information theory and methods to represent and process information. Among them, quantum secure communication (especially quantum key distribution technology) is considered one of the most likely directions to be put into practical use first. According to different propagation media, quantum key distribution can be divided into quantum key distribution in optical fibers and quantum key distribution in free space. There is nobirefringence effect in optical fibers of the free space, and there is no need to lay optical cables. Once the technology is mature, it can be used for secure ground satellite communication, building a global network of quantum communication networks, and has good development prospects. Due to the complex weather conditions above the channel, the attenuation of laser power in the atmosphere is difficult to predict. This article focuses on theoretical modeling of commonly used aerosols in channels. By analysing the advantages and disadvantages of existing models, a micro particle scattering method is proposed to construct atmospheric attenuation, which introduces geometric scattering and cladding particle scattering. Extended Mie scattering models are constructed separately, and the applicable objects and scope of the scattering models are explained. Mie scattering is a theoretical model for analyzing the attenuation of fog aerosols, while geometric scattering is a theoretical method for analyzing large-scale aerosols such as rainfall. For haze aerosols, a blanket particle scattering model is proposed for theoretical analysis. When the aerosol concentration is high, Monte Carlo method can be combined for optimization. Then, based on the layered theory, the attenuation of laser propagation along any path is derived. Finally, attenuation models for fog, rain, and haze were constructed. On this basis, the attenuation of laser propagation along any path is derived. Then, the simulation results are compared with mainstream commercial software, and the relative error of operation is less than 5%. Finally, the results were compared uniformly to determine the strength of aerosol attenuation on the 1.55u m laser. The simulation results of the model can serve as a theoretical basis for the adaptive power adjustment of the free space quantumkey distribution system at the transmitting, ensuring the system's error rate.

Quantum signaling transmission computing model and simulation analysis

Zhang Meiling, Jiang Jinya, Yanxia Liang +1 more

Signaling is an essential and important component in quantum communication. However, the current research on the quantum signaling transmission computing model has not yet commenced. In this paper, based on the background of noise, the transmission damage probability model of quantum signaling is presented. The relationship between the fidelity of signaling and the samples sent is studied. The simulation results show that, when the state of quantum entanglement is the maximum state of entanglement, the fidelity is 1. The fidelity is increased with the number of samples and limited to 1. For the signaling standards of the future quantum communication system, this study has good technical support role.

Transmission fidelity analysis of multiuser quantum signaling under noisy background

Min Nie

To research the problem of transmission fidelity of multiuser quantum signaling under noisy background, the definition and transmission method of signaling fidelity were presented. The relationship between entanglement degree and signaling successful transmission ratio was analyzed. The computing model of quantum entanglement signaling was put forward, and the simulation for signaling transmission fidelity was achieved finally. The results show that the interference of environment noise to quantum signaling channel entanglement degree restricts the distance and efficiency of the signaling transmission. And the signaling fidelity is convergence gradually with the increase of the sample's number. To insure entanglement signaling transmission precision, the sample's number should be adjusted properly according to the communication distance.
