Abstract

D dimensional Schrodinger equation for the mixed Manning Rosen potential was investigated using supersymmetric quantum mechanics. We obtained the energy eigenvalues from radial part solution and wavefunctions in radial and angular parts solution. From the lowest radial wavefunctions, we evaluated the Shannon entropy information using Matlab software. Based on the entropy densities demonstrated graphically, we obtained that the wave of position information entropy density moves right when the value of potential parameter q increases, while its wave moves left with the increase of parameter α. The wave of momentum information entropy densities were expressed in graphs. We observe that its amplitude increase with increasing parameter q and α

Eigen solutions, Shannon entropy and fisher information under the Eckart Manning Rosen potential model

We solved the Schrödinger equation with a certain approximation to the centrifugal term for an arbitrary angular momentum state with the Eckart Manning Rosen potential. The bound-state energy eigenvalues and the corresponding wave functions have been approximately obtained using the parametric Nikiforov Uvarov method. The solutions of the Schrödinger equation for the Eckart potential, Manning Rosen potential, and Hulthén potential have been obtained using a certain transformation. The concepts of the Shannon entropy and the Fisher information of a system under the Eckart Manning Rosen potential are investigated in detail. The behavior of the screening parameter and the quantum number n for Fisher information and the Shannon entropy are also investigated.

Quantum information entropies of the eigenstates for the Pöschl—Teller-like potential

Guo-Hua Sun, Manuél Ávila, Shi‐Hai Dong

Shannon entropy for lower position and momentum eigenstates of Pöschl—Teller-like potential is evaluated. Based on the entropy densities demonstrated graphically, we note that the wave through of the position information entropy density ρ( x ) moves right when the potential parameter V 1 increases and its amplitude decreases. However, its wave through moves left with the increase in the potential parameter | V 2 |. Concerning the momentum information entropy density ρ( p ), we observe that its amplitude increases with increasing potential parameter V 1 , but its amplitude decreases with increasing | V 2 |. The Bialynicki—Birula—Mycielski (BBM) inequality has also been tested for a number of states. Moreover, there exist eigenstates that exhibit squeezing in the momentum information entropy. Finally, we note that position information entropy increases with V 1 , but decreases with | V 2 |. However, the variation of momentum information entropy is contrary to that of the position information entropy.

Quantum Information Entropy of Hyperbolic Potentials in Fractional Schrödinger Equation

R. Santana Carrillo, Jesus S. González-Flores, Emilio Magaña-Espinal +3 more

In this work we have studied the Shannon information entropy for two hyperbolic single-well potentials in the fractional Schrödinger equation (the fractional derivative number (0<n≤2) by calculating position and momentum entropy. We find that the wave function will move towards the origin as the fractional derivative number n decreases and the position entropy density becomes more severely localized in more fractional system, i.e., for smaller values of n, but the momentum probability density becomes more delocalized. And then we study the Beckner Bialynicki-Birula−Mycieslki (BBM) inequality and notice that the Shannon entropies still satisfy this inequality for different depth u even though this inequality decreases (or increases) gradually as the depth u of the hyperbolic potential U1 (or U2) increases. Finally, we also carry out the Fisher entropy and observe that the Fisher entropy increases as the depth u of the potential wells increases, while the fractional derivative number n decreases.

ANALYSIS OF ENERGY AND WAVE FUNCTIONS AND THE THERMODYNAMICS PROPERTIES OF THE 6-DIMENSIONAL SCHRODINGER EQUATION UNDER DOUBLE RING-SHAPE OSCILLATOR (DRSO) AND MANNING-ROSEN POTENTIALS USING SUSY QM METHOD

The exact solutions of the Schrodinger equations (SE) in the D-dimensional coordinate system have attracted the attention of many theoretical researchers in branches of quantum physics and quantum chemistry. The energy eigenvalues and the wave function are the solutions of the Schrodinger equation that implicitly represents the behavior of a quantum mechanical system. This study aimed to obtain the eigenvalues, wave functions, and thermodynamic properties of the 6-Dimensional Schrodinger equation under Double Ring-Shaped Oscillator (DRSO) and Manning-Rosen potential. The variable separation method was applied to reduce the one 6-Dimensional Schrodinger equation depending on radial and angular non-central potential into five onedimensional Schrodinger equations: one radial and five angular Schrodinger equations. Each of these onedimensional Schrodinger equations was solved using the SUSY QM method to obtain one eigenvalue and one wave function of the radial part, five eigenvalues, and five angular wave functions angular part. Some thermodynamic properties such, the vibrational mean energy 𝑈, vibrational specific heat 𝐶, vibrational free energy 𝐹, and vibrational entropy 𝑆, were obtained using the radial energy equations. The results showed that except the 𝑛𝑙1, all increment of angular quantum number decreases the energy values. Increments of all potential parameter increase the energy values. Increment of angular quantum number and potentials parameter increases the amplitude and shifts the wave functions to the left. However, the increment of 𝑛𝑙1, 𝛼, 𝜎, and 𝜌 decrease the amplitude and shift wavefunctions to the right. Moreover, the vibrational mean energy 𝑈 and free energy 𝐹 increased as the increasing value of potentials parameters, where the ω parameter has the dominant effect than the other parameters. The vibrational specific heat 𝐶 and entropy 𝑆 affected only by the 𝜔 parameter, where 𝐶 and 𝑆 decreased as the increase of 𝜔.

Relativistic investigation of fisher information and Shannon entropy for Schioberg plus Yukawa potential

I. B. Okon, Akaninyene Daniel Antia, Cecilia N. Isonguyo +6 more

Quantum information entropies have been properly studied within the confines of nonrelativistic quantum mechanics ( QM ) by solving Schrödinger wave equation for different considerable potential models to obtained the energy and total normalised wave function which are essential tools for determining various information entropies. However, not much research has been done on evaluation of information entropies within the relativistic quantum mechanics because of its complexities and existence of both multiple and quadratic eigenvalues for fixed quantum state ( n ) and orbital angular quantum number \((\ell )\) . In this work, we investigate Fisher information and Shannon entropy in three dimensional space within the relativistic regime by solving Klein-Gordon ( KG ) equation for equal scalar and vector potential with Schioberg plus Yukawa potential ( SPYP ) using the Parametric Nikiforov-Uvarov ( PNU ) method and compare the results to its nonrelativistic counterpart. It is important to note that the numerical solutions for the three dimensional Fisher information and Shannon entropy obtained for both the relativistic and nonrelativistic wave equations using SPYP adequately satisfies Bialynicki-Birula and Mycieslski (BBM) uncertainty inequality. The radial wave function, radial probability density, momentum space wave function and momentum probability density graphical plots were all obtained for both cases respectively. The numerical computations for Fisher information and Shannon entropy in three dimensional space were carried out for \(\ell = 0\) with different quantum states \(n= 0\) and 1. The investigation of Fisher information and Shannon entropy are relevance in describing localisation and delocalisation mechanism of particles in atomic orbitals within a potential well, relativistic confinement effect and entropy-energy correlation.

Quantum information entropies of the eigenstates for a symmetrically trigonometric Rosen–Morse potential

Guo-Hua Sun, Shi‐Hai Dong

Shannon entropy for the position and momentum eigenstates of the symmetrically trigonometric Rosen–Morse potential for the lower states n = 1–4 is evaluated. The position information entropies S x for n = 1,2 are presented analytically. Some interesting features of the information entropy densities ρ s ( x ) and ρ s ( p ) are demonstrated graphically. We find that the ρ s ( p ) is inversely proportional to the range of potential a and the S x decreases with increasing the potential depth D . In particular, we note that the S x might become negative for some given parameters a and D . The Bialynicki-Birula–Mycielski inequality is also tested for a number of states and is found to generally hold well.
