Quantum Communication Protocol Design Based on Quantum Error-Correcting Codes

Jincheng Zhang

This paper presents the design of a communication protocol leveraging quantum error-correcting codes to enhance the reliability of quantum communication. The core idea revolves around encoding quantum information using a specific quantum error-correcting code and subsequently transmitting this encoded information. During transmission, the protocol employs error detection and correction techniques based on the chosen code to mitigate the detrimental effects of noise and decoherence, which are inherent challenges in quantum communication. The proposed protocol aims to significantly improve the robustness of quantum communication channels, a critical step towards realizing practical quantum networks and secure quantum key distribution. The theoretical framework and mathematical formulation of the protocol are presented, detailing the encoding process, error detection, and correction mechanisms. This work contributes to the growing field of quantum communication by providing a concrete design methodology for building more reliable quantum communication systems.

Quantum Phase Coding: A Novel Quantum Communication Protocol

Jincheng Zhang

Quantum Phase Coding (QPC) is a rapidly developing quantum communication protocol that leverages the inherent properties of quantum mechanics, specifically the superposition and entanglement of quantum states, to establish secure communication channels. This paper proposes a new QPC protocol, focused on enhancing information security through the manipulation of quantum phase differences. We delve into the fundamental principles of QPC, outlining its core mechanism and highlighting its potential advantages over existing quantum communication methods. The paper presents a detailed explanation of the protocol's architecture, focusing on the crucial role of phase difference measurements in maintaining security and facilitating quantum entanglement. We conclude with a discussion of the challenges and future directions of this promising quantum communication technology.

Channel-optimized quantum communication scheme based on combination code

Li-Yun Zhao, Xiu‐Bo Chen, Li Gong +4 more

In this paper, a channel-optimized quantum communication scheme with imperfect Bell states is being considered, based on quantum teleportation and error correction codes technology. In this scheme, a novel “combination code” technique is proposed to protect the pre-shared Bell states from storage errors and to safeguard the information-encoded states from noisy channels. Ultimately, it is revealed by Monte Carlo simulation results that the channel fidelity of the proposed channel-optimized quantum communication scheme with imperfect Bell states is significantly advantageous over standard quantum error-correcting code (QECC) and entanglement-assisted quantum error-correcting code (EAQECC) communication schemes.
