Quantifications for multimode entanglement

Mehmet Emre Taşgın, Muhammad Suhail Zubairy

We introduce two independent quantifications for three-mode and four-mode entanglement. We investigate the conversion of one type of nonclassicality, i.e., single-mode nonclassicality, into another type of nonclassicality, i.e., multimode entanglement, in beam splitters. We observe parallel behavior of the two quantifications. The methods can be generalized to the quantification of any multimode entanglement.

Experimental entanglement quantification and verification via uncertainty relations

Zhiwei Wang, Yun‐Feng Huang, Xi‐Feng Ren +2 more

We report on experimental studies on entanglement quantification and verification based on uncertainty relations for systems consisting of two qubits. The new proposed measure is shown to be invariant under local unitary transformations, by which entanglement quantification is implemented for two-qubit pure states. The nonlocal uncertainty relations for two-qubit pure states are also used for entanglement verification which serves as a basic proposition and promise to be a good choice for verification of multipartite entanglement.

Quantification of Entanglement

Bilal Benzimoun, Abdelali Sajia

Quantum entanglement, a fundamental concept in quantum physics, has been elucidated through the development of Bell’s inequalities. Recent advancements have enabled controlled manipulation and measurement of entangled quantum states. This chapter provides a concise overview of entanglement’s mathematical underpinnings, its manipulation, and quantification. Special attention is given to quantification methods and their implications in quantum information. Key principles and measures are presented to facilitate a foundational understanding. Readers are encouraged to supplement this overview with comprehensive review articles and primary literature for further insights.
