Quantum Technologies: Simulation Of Information Communication

Галиева Надежда Геннадьевна

The paper discusses the importance of information resources requiring reliable methods of unauthorized access protection in the modern information-oriented society. The article describes the structure and basic principles of the quantum cryptography technology based on properties of quantum systems. Quantum information is a physical quantity characterizing changes occurring in the system during interaction between the information flow and the external environment. It offers a method for improving data security and confidential information protection using quantum teleportation within infrared laser communication channels. The theoretical development was implemented experimentally by the authors using the unit for laser communications.

КВАНТОВА КРИПТОГРАФІЯ: ПРИНЦИПИ, ПРОБЛЕМИ ТА ПЕРСПЕКТИВИ

Quantum cryptography is a relatively new but promising method for secure data transmission. Today it is believed that it can ensure the absolute secrecy of data, resulting from the principles of quantum physics, on which it is based, namely the uncertainty principle of quantum Heisenberg. According to this principle cannot measure any aspect of photons without distorting thus irrevocably different option. That is the recipient of a message knows when attempting invasion in this necessarily knows. To create a quantum communication channel often use fiber optic lines or open space in which carriers serve single photons or pairs of entangled photons are often used.Three tasks facing cryptography are:1. Ensuring the confidentiality of messages sent via open communication channels.2. Authentication messages that confirm the validity of the information received and sent.3. Installing intrusion in fact, if it took place.Given the importance of information security, quantum cryptography technology will soon be available not only banks or large corporations but also individuals. Leading IT companies are in search of optimum circuit solutions that would produce industrial equipment for the transmission of confidential information available for mass use. The main obstacles for implementation of quantum cryptography methods are short distances, which can transmit information with modern facilities, high cost and cumbersome equipment. To solve these problems prompted the idea of creating a hybrid air-fiber system using satellite communications is proposed. The use of artificial satellites for the transmission of photons through the air opens the possibility of secret key clients in any part of the Earth and even beyond. It is also appropriate to review the possibility of using existing telecommunication and electrical networks for the transmission of quantum keys. The ideas p presented in the paper, open new space for scientific experiments.

Конфиденциальность данных беспроводных сетей на основе информационно-теоретического подхода

In modern communication systems, there is a clear separation between data encryption and error correction in the message flow. At the physical level of an open data transmission system, error correction is implemented that allows higher levels to abstract this level as an ideal bit channel. Encryption based on cryptographic principles occurs at higher levels. This separation has long been an obvious solution in most communication systems, but recently there has been an increasing interest in providing security directly at the physical level by using the properties of the basic communication channel. With this approach, security is ensured by an information-theoretic approach that does not require difficult to compute functions, as in traditional cryptography. Information and theoretical security, first introduced by Shannon and widely recognized as the most stringent security notation, is becoming increasingly attractive to many cyber-physical systems, wireless networks, distributed control systems and other applications. Nevertheless, many open questions remain for the full integration of information and theoretical security into future communication systems. This article discusses the autonomous results in the field of theoretical information security.

Quantum Technology: Unlocking the Nature of Physical Reality

Alamgir Khan, Jamil Khan, Khalilullah +2 more

This book provides a comprehensive and organized study of quantum technology, focusing on principles, mathematical foundations, and practical realizations of quantum teleportation and other processes in the field of quantum information. It starts with the basic principles of quantum mechanics (wave-particle duality, for instance) superposition and measurement theory all helping as the theoretical backbone of current quantum science. In addition to these basics, we provide a concise introduction and discussion of quantum energy or the quantization of energy levels, energy eigenstates and Planck’s constant, which determines what happens in microscopic systems allowing quantum theory an overlap with data from physical observables. Building on these principles, the book introduces quantum states and quantum entanglement, highlighting their non-classical correlations and their crucial role in facilitating quantum communication protocols. This book also discusses quantum gates and quantum circuits as the units of quantum computation and how quantum information is computed and manipulated by using controlled unitary operations. Also, it discusses the impact of both quantum decoherence and environmental noise which pose significant difficulties to coherent quantum systems and dependable information transmission. It discusses methods of error correction and coherence . This book further expanded to quantum cryptography and secure communications with more importance on protocols like quantum key distribution which make use of quantum principles to provide provable security. Quantum computing architectures and algorithms are also measured and various physical implementations and computational models that strive to produce scalable quantum processors are outlined. Problems and limitations of quantum teleportation are critically examined and these are, reliability issues, channel losses, scaling, and resource limitations. Lastly, the book ends by outlining the future of quantum technology, investigating the new technologies and opportunities, the possible advances, and the revolutionary use of quantum technologies in the fields of computation, communication and secure information processing.

The main trends in the development of quantum communications are considered. It is shown that the use of a quantum key provides significant advantages over other methods of cryptography, which makes it very attractive as a basic telecommunications security infrastructure in general.
