Abstract

We initially introduce one-dimensional mixed-five-spin chain with Ising- XY model which includes mixture of spins-1/2 and spins-1. Here, it is considered that nearest spins (1,1/2) have Ising-type interaction and nearest spins (1/2,1/2) have both XY -type and Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) interactions together. Nearest spins (1,1) have XX Heisenberg interaction. This system is in the vicinity of an external homogeneous magnetic field B in thermal equilibrium state. We promote the quantum information transmitting protocol verified for a normal spin chain with simple model (refer to Rossini D, Giovannetti V and Fazio R 2007 Int. J. Quantum Infor. 5 439) (widely in reference: Giovannetti V and Fazio R 2005 Phys. Rev. A 71 032314) by means of considering the suggested mixed-five-spin chain as a quantum communication channel for transmitting both qubits and qutrits ideally. Hence, we investigate some useful quantities such as quantum capacity and quantum information transmission rate for the system. Finally, we conclude that, when the DM interaction between spins (1/2,1/2) increases the system is a more ideal channel for transmitting information.

Classical correlation and quantum entanglement in the mixed-spin Ising-XY model with Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction

Hamid Arian Zad, Hossein Movahhedian

In the present work, initially, a mixed-three-spin (1/2,1,1/2) cell of a mixed-[Formula: see text]-spin chain with Ising-XY model is introduced, for which pair spins (1,1/2) have Ising-type interaction and pair spins (1/2,1/2) have both XY-type and Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) interactions together. An external homogeneous magnetic field [Formula: see text] is considered for the system in thermal equilibrium. Integer-spins have a single-ion anisotropy property with coefficient [Formula: see text]. Then, we investigate the quantum entanglement between half-spins (1/2,1/2), by means of the concurrence. Classical correlation (CC) for this pair of spins is investigated as well as the concurrence and some interesting temperature, the magnetic field and the DM interaction properties are expressed. Moreover, single-ion anisotropy effects on the correlation between half-spins is verified. According to the verifications based on the communication channels category by Rossini, Giovannetti and Fazio [D. Rossini, V. Giovannetti and R. Fazio, Int. J. Quantum Inf. 5, 439 (2007)], we theoretically consider such tripartite spin model as an ideal quantum channel, then calculate its information transmission rate and express some differences in behavior between this suggested model and introduced simple models in the previous works (chains without spin integer and DM interaction) from information transferring protocol point of view.

Thermal entanglement in a mixed spin Heisenberg XXX chain with DM interaction

Nizar Ahami, M. El Baz

We consider a one-dimensional, mixed spin Heisenberg XXX model with an homogeneous external magnetic field and Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction. Alternating spin-[Formula: see text] and spin-1 particles are forming the chain. The effect of the different parameters of the system on the bipartite thermal entanglement is studied. The type of chain used (mixed) and the size of the chain ([Formula: see text]) allow to study three types of bipartite entanglement, the qubit–qubit, qubit–qutrit and qutrit–qutrit thermal entanglement.

Thermal Entanglement and Quantum State Teleportation

Mohsen Balvasi, Enayatollah Taghavi moghadam, Farshad Baharvand

This study investigates thermal entanglement in a four-qubit spin chain of Heisenberg model XX with the presence of the Dzyaloshinski-Moriya (DM) anisotropic asymmetric interaction, an external magnetic field, and another parameter. Then, the spin chain was used as a quantum channel for transferring an unknown quantum state. Finally, fidelity concept was used to check the similarity between input state and output state which, in fact, shows the degree of success in teleportation. In this way, the effect of different parameters on the fidelity was determined. It was concluded that quantum channel comprised of four-qubit spin chain which has thermal equilibrium is an appropriate candidate for quantum transfer of information.

Entanglement transmission due to the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction

Mostafa Motamedifar, Fatemeh Sadeghi, Mojtaba Golshani

We revisited the effectiveness of state and entanglement transmission through a spin-chain-based quantum channel while altering the system parameters and the channel's initial state. Our research is focused on the spin-1/2 XX chain with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction and the aim is to measure entanglement dynamics between different part of the chain. The speed of entanglement propagation is utilized to probe the evolution of the system via three scenarios: (i) pure Heisenberg interaction, (ii) pure DM interaction, and (iii) collaboration of both types of couplings. To accomplish this, we employ the fermionization approach to obtain an exact solution to the problem. Aside from investigating the influence of magnetic interaction type on entanglement transfer, the effect of selecting the initial state has also been studied. As a result, we discovered that the phase factor regulating the system's initial state induces sharp drops in the propagation speed of entanglement. We also showed how to predict the location of these dramatic drops using the language of wave interference. In addition, the fastest transmission occurs at a special value of the phase factor in which the highest amount of entanglement reaches the system's different pairs. On the other hand, we observe a continuous and flat range of this factor in which the least amount of entanglement is transmitted and for them we have a sharp drop in the speed profile.

Thermal quantum correlations of spin chain with multiple interactions

Sodeif Ahadpour, Фороузан Мирмасоуди

In order to explore the impact of distance between spins on quantum correlation, we compute trace ditance discord (TDD) and spin squeezing in an anisotropic Heisenberg XYZ model with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction in the presence of the external magnetic field. It is valuable to investigate that how we can protect quantum correlations in system when the distance between the spins is promoted. We find that rich Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and low temperature can be effective for quantum correlations with increasing distance between spins. As, at sufficeintly low temperature In addition, the generated correlated channels are inspected to interchange the information between the system qubits applying the standard dense coding protocol; then, the dense coding capacity of the transmitted information is quantified. It is found that the strength Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and magnetic field have a great impact on the dynamics of the quantum correlations and, consequently, the quality of the generated channels to exchange the information. Therefore, the effect of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction for various strengths of temperature needs to be considered to have valid dense coding when distance of spin increases.

Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interactions effects on the entanglement dynamics of a two qubit xxz spin system in non-Markovian environment

Georges Collince Fouokeng, Martin Tchoffo, Edwine Tendong +1 more

We investigate the exact entanglement dynamics of a two-qubit Heisenberg XXZ chain with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interactions, interacting with an anisotropic spin bath in thermal equi- librium at a temperature T, driven by an external magnetic field B along the z-axis. We establish that, for an initially entangled qubit pair, the DM interactions generate entanglement and enhance the entanglement in the revival region. The effects of the DM interaction are also seen to be very important at high temperatures and for weak coupling between the two qubits where it is seen to preserve entanglement. These effects are weakened when the magnetic field B and the Heisenberg coupling are switched on. If the two-qubits are prepared in an initially separable state, the DM in- teraction instead has a negative effect on their entanglement. On a whole entanglement can better be preserve in the spin chain even at high temperatures by increases the external magnetic field B and the Heisenberg couplings, and by tuning the strength of the DM interaction.
