Single-Electron Double-Slit Experiment and Semi-Closed Friedman Model of Binary Black Hole Emitting Gravitational Wave

Abstract

Previous time-symmetric but non-relativistic interpretation of the single-electron doubleslit experiment, visualizing the particle-wave dual nature of the electron, is extended to a relativistic interpretation of the singular nature of the electron as a quantum anomaly occurring at Compton scale distances (ultraviolet regions) from the point particle source and the detection point, violating time-symmetry and local causality. The lensing action of the double-slit is next compared to the lensing action of galaxy cluster or black hole in the foreground of a distant extragalactic light source and extended to a semi-closed Friedman model of the recently observed binary back hole emitting a trangent gravitational wave signal. Historical comments are given on the early philosophical notion of the reality of the intermediate states between source and detector.

On the Single Electron Double Slit Experiment – A Randomly-Jumping Electron Approach

Lizhi Xin, Kevin Xin

Abstract One of the greatest mysteries that has puzzled and seemingly hoodwinked our very understanding of nature is the single electron double slit experiment – one that Feynman termed the central mystery of quantum mechanics. At the heart of this mystery is how can an electron that is a physical particle exhibit a wave-like property? We’ve proposed a non-counterintuitive way to explain this phenomenon called the randomly-jumping electron hypothesis, in which the electron randomly “jumps” in discrete succession to specific points only and not others which is what causes the electron to indeed be a classical particle only but is able to produce a wave-like interference pattern. To provide supporting evidence for our hypothesis, we’ve developed a computer program to simulate the single electron double slit experiment by treating the electron as a classical particle while still exhibiting wave-like fringes in agreement with real-world observed data of the single electron double slit experiment performed. Our interpretation does not set out to “solve” the mystery of why an electron can produce a wave-like interference pattern once and for all, however our hypothesis is a monism ontological interpretation that does address some of the crucial debates that have remained unsolved for 100 years since the formulation of quantum mechanics.

Complete Explanation for the Double-Slit Interference-Experiments

Hasmukh K. Tank

The particle- interference-experiments, with the photons and electrons have clearly shown that they are always detected as localized „particles‟; and the density of their detections exhibit a pattern similar to the interference of waves. This experimental-observation is now explained here, making the current, „probabilistic interpretation‟, a past history. The „particle ‟ is first mathematically characterized as an „impulse function ‟ in space; and then Fourier-transformed into the wave-number-domain, as a wide band of constituent-waves as shown in the fig. 1&2. The „particle ‟ is explained as an „event ‟ of constructive-superimposition of a wide band of „pre-quantum-waves‟. This „event ‟ occurs in space at regular distances; and at regular instances in time. We know that even the purest monochromatic laser source has a „line-width ‟ of a few Giga-Hertz, or at least a few kilo-Hertz. So in the particle-interference-experiments, they are these wide bands of waves which pass through both the slits, even in the case of single photon states, and interfere physically. This physical interference of the wide bands of pre-quantum-waves determines the position and time of emergence of the „particle‟. Thus, form the theoretical view-point, there are only the waves, and waves alone; and the „particle ‟ is a specific situation of constructive-superimposition of all the spectral-components of pre-quantum-waves; so there is no wave-particle-duality.

Comprehensive Double Slit Experiments-Exploring Experimentally Mystery of Double Slit

Huei Peng

Abstract Young’s double slit experiments, which represent the mystery of quantum mechanics, have been interpreted by quantum probability waves and pilot waves. In this article, to study the mystery, we proposed and carried out comprehensive double slit experiments, which demonstrate two postulates related to double slit experiments: (1) before striking at the slide of a double slit, photons emitted by a laser source behave as particles; (2) before striking at the detector, photons behave as particles. Progress in studying the mystery of the double slit experiment is presented.

Low Intensity Electrical Observer Effect

The study of the dual nature of the electron is proposed, with alterations in initial double-slit experiment. We are aware of mysterious nature of the quantum particles, particularly electrons. The particle behaves as wave, but upon observation, the wave-function of the electron is collapsed. No longer is an interference pattern observed, which in a sense, limits us and binds us to what we can measure and what we cannot, with current detection methods. In the double slit experiment, a source of high-intensity light is used to measure the position of the electrons, which leads to the collapse of the wave-function. An investigation is proposed to observe the effects of the low-intensity electric field on the duality of electron.

Double Slit Experiment Still Has Much to Offer (4): New Double Slit Experiments Violating Wave Description

Peng, Hui

Young's double slit experiments representing the mystery of quantum mechanics have been descripted by wave theories. To study the mystery, the double slit experiments were extended to the cross-double slit experiments. A description should explain all the double slit and cross-double slit experiments consistently. To test the wave description, the two postulates are proposed, which state that before passing through the double slit and before landing on the detector, photons behave as particles, but not as waves. To test the two postulates, the comprehensive double slit/cross-double slit experiments are proposed and performed. By placing shields and/or blockers near the detector/screen, the comprehensive double slit/cross-double slit experiments show that the fringes are created independently and partially, which discloses the particle nature of photons in the double slit/crossdouble slit experiments and violates the wave descriptions. The comprehensive double slit/cross-double slit experiments provide the comprehensive phenomena for developing theoretical model to study the mystery of double slit, complementarity principle, wave-particle duality, and wave theory of light.
