Field Equations of the CP(N-1) Affine Gauge Theory

Peter Leifer, Lawrence Paul Horwitz

A non-linear relativistic 4D field model of a quantum particle which emerges from the internal dynamics in the quantum phase space $CP(N-1)$ is proposed. In this model there is no distinction between `particle' and its `surrounding field', and the space-time manifold emerges from the description of the quantum state. The quantum observables of the `quantum particle field' are described in terms of the affine parallel transport of the local dynamical variables in $CP(N-1)$.

Location Is a Dynamic Variable: A Scalar-Field Framework for Emergent Localization

Christopher Woodyard

A theoretical framework in which physical location is treated as a dynamic, emergent variable arising from coupled matter–scalar-field configurations. Building on established results from quantum field theory, general relativity, and fault-tolerant quantum computation, the paper introduces the Frequency–Location Hypothesis, which reframes spatial localization as an eigenstate of a resonance-supported field configuration rather than a fixed background coordinate.

Quantum-corrected Floquet dynamics: Bridging fully quantum and semiclassical regimes

E. K. Twyeffort, A. D. Armour

Semiclassical descriptions of a few-level system coupled to an electromagnetic field mode reduce the field to a time-dependent driving term. Although such methods are widely used, the underlying quantum character of the field generates corrections to the dynamics that can become significant. Here, we develop a general approach for systematically calculating quantum corrections to the time-dependent Floquet dynamics that emerges in the semiclassical description. Taking the Rabi model of a spin-field system as an example, we show how approximate analytical expressions for short-time quantum corrections to the semiclassical dynamics can be obtained. This framework helps explain the emergence of semiclassical behavior, sheds light on collapse and revival dynamics in the Rabi model, and provides a tool for assessing corrections to semiclassical control techniques.
