A New Scheme for Probabilistic Teleportation and Its Potential Applications

Jiahua Wei, Hong‐Yi Dai, Ming Zhang

We propose a novel scheme to probabilistically teleport an unknown two-level quantum state when the information of the partially entangled state is only available for the sender. This is in contrast with the fact that the receiver must know the non-maximally entangled state in previous typical schemes for the teleportation. Additionally, we illustrate two potential applications of the novel scheme for probabilistic teleportation from a sender to a receiver with the help of an assistant, who plays distinct roles under different communication conditions, and our results show that the novel proposal could enlarge the applied range of probabilistic teleportation.

Probabilistic Teleportation via Quantum Channel with Partial Information

Desheng Liu, Zhiping Huang, Xiaojun Guo

Two novel schemes are proposed to teleport an unknown two-level quantum state probabilistically when the sender and the receiver only have partial information about the quantum channel, respectively. This is distinct from the fact that either the sender or the receiver has entire information about the quantum channel in previous schemes for probabilistic teleportation. Theoretical analysis proves that these schemes are straightforward, efficient and cost-saving. The concrete realization procedures of our schemes are presented in detail, and the result shows that our proposals could extend the application range of probabilistic teleportation.

A better scheme of probabilistic teleportation of a triplet W state

Ning Li

A better scheme of probabilistic teleportation of a triplet W state is proposed, where the three three-qubit W states are taken as quantum channels.Compared with Yan's scheme, instead of using Bellstate measurement,a new orthogonal basis measurement is proposed in the scheme. The receiver performs appropriate unitary transformation according to the sender's measurements, the success of probabilistic teleportation can be improved to 20/27.
