Abstract

The nonlinear theory of interaction between q-deformed odd coherent light field and a cascade three-level atom is established. And the formal solution of Schrdinger equation in the representation and its average number are obtained. Then, the influence of q-deformed on photon antibunching effects is studied through numerical calculation. The results show that the q-deformed has much ability of control to the photon antibunching effects. It reflects that q-deformed nonlinear action has influence on the quantum coherence and quantum properties. When q→1,the theory reduces to the common linear theory.

Antibunching Properties of q-Deformed Coherent Light Field Interacting with a Cascade Three-Level Atom

Hui Zhang

A nonlinear theoretical model of interaction between q-deformed light field and a cascade three-level atom has been constructed. The formal solution of Schrodinger equation in the interactive representation and the expectation value of the interaction on such a state are obtained. Then, the influence of q deformation on photon antibunching effects is studied by numerical calculation. The results show that the more q deviates from 1, the stronger controllability to antibunching effects the q deformation has. It reflects the effect of the nonlinear behavior of q deformation on quantum coherence and quantum properties. When q→1, the theory reduces to the normal linear theory.

The nonlinear theory of interaction between the q analogue of a single-mode field and a Ξ-type three-level atom has been established. And the formal solution of the Schrödinger equation in the representation and its average number are obtained. Then, the photon squeezing effects are studied through numerical calculation. The results show that the q deformation nonlinear action has a lot of influence on the quantum coherence and quantum properties. When q approaches 1, the theory reduces to the common linear theory.

Antibunching Effect of k-Boson q-Coherent States

Zhong Wang

The antibunching effect for the eigenstates of the q deformed annihilation operator a k q(k ≥3) is investigated. Using the numerical method, we have studied the influences of the q parameter deformation on the effect in the case of k =3. The results show that the eigenstates of a k q exhibit antibunching effect when x=|z| 2, i.e. the intensity of the oscillator in q deformed coherent state, is in values of certain intervals, and the effect is evidently influenced by the values of parameter q . When the intensity of the q deformed light field is changed stronger gradually, the fluctuation of the photon number in the light field is changed between the classical (or quantum) and the quantum (or classical) properties alternatively.

Qiu Chang-dong

The antibunching effect of the field in the system of two-mode entangled coherent states interacting with a Λ-type three-level atom was investigated by means of numerical calculation. The influences of the degree of entanglement of two Λ-mode entangled coherent state optics field and mean photon numbers of two-mode optics field on antibunching effect were discussed. The results showed that antibunching effect strengthening with increasing of the the degree of entanglement of two-mode entangled coherent state optics field and weakening with increasing of mean photon numbers of two-mode entangled coherent state optics field.
