Abstract

Using two wavefunctions, the state of the harmonic oscillator with time-dependent frequency is defined and its motion could be described completely. The classical limit of this double wave description could have the same results as those of the classical mechanics.

Double wave function description of the coupling harmonic oscillator

Huang Chun

The double wave function quantum theory is applied to study the coupling harmonic oscillator. The time evolution equations and some constant of the motion describing the single coupling harmonic oscillator and the classical limits of these equations are obtained. The relations between the double wave function quantum theory and the single wave quantum theory are discussed.

Double Wave Description of Time dependent Harmonic Oscillator

Zhu Zheng

A harmonic oscillator with time dependent frequancy is studied using double wave function theory. The calculation of displacement, momentum and energy etc, shows that the oscillator moves quasi harmonically in time. When the frequancy comes to a constant, the oscillator becomes the simple harmonic one,as expected.
