Abstract

Under the circumstance of completely open up of network,in order to guarantee the security of the communication, construct secure and efficient key agreement protocol.A new two rounds two-party authenticated key agreement protocol is proposed.According to the key agreement, two models in the new key agreement protocol by both sides is analyzed with key agreement to make a session key,and then new forms of double rounds key negotiation meeting is proved formally,in addition,a triple rounds confirmed key negotiation meeting is,the good effect is obtained through the experiment performance analysis.

Provably Secure Two-Party Authenticated Key Exchange Protocol in eCK Model

How to construct secure key agreement protocol is one of the most challenging problems in information security area. However, most of the current secure protocols can only achieve heuristic security, the security assumptions and efficiencies of these protocols are not perfect. To solve these problems, the authors propose a new 2 rounds two-party authenticated key agreement protocol and point out some principles to construct a secure protocol by analyzing the security properties of the protocol, then prove strictly that the new protocol is secure in eCK model.According to pertinent literature,eCK model provides the strongest definition of security for two party key agreement protocol at present.Performance analysis shows that the protocol has a good balance between computational cost and security assumption. The authors also present a three-round variant of the protocol to realize key conformation property.

Provably Secure Two-Party Explicit Authenticated Key Agreement Protocol

Minghui Zheng, Jing Chen

This paper considers the issue on authenticated two-party key agreement protocol over an insecure public network. Many authenticated key agreement protocols have been proposed to meet the challenges. Based on bilinear pairing, Zhou et al. proposed a two-party key agreement with implicit key authentication in 2011. Implicit key authentication can be easily achieved by encrypting the later communications using the session key. However, we can not ensure how participants using the session key protocol. This paper will transform the Zhou's implicit authenticated key agreement protocol into the explicit one with key confirmation by introducing the authenticators, and show the proposed protocol is provably secure under the random-oracle model.

An efficient and secure one-round authenticated key agreement protocol without pairings

Mengbo Hou, Qiuliang Xu

Two-Party Authenticated key agreement protocol is essential for setting up the common session key for parties to establish secure channel for network communication in the open environment. Most of proposed schemes require expensive bilinear pairing operation and only provide limited security attributes. So such protocols are unsuitable for real-world applications that require stronger sense of secrecy. In this paper, we first analysis two schemes recently proposed by Cao etc., and then present a one-round ID-based authenticated key agreement protocol with more desired security attributes, which need no pairing operations while still achieve nice computational efficiency. These security attributes include known-key secrecy, perfect forward secrecy, PKG forward secrecy, key-compromise impersonation resilience, unknown key-share resilience and no key control. Moreover, it captures the enhanced security attributes known session-specific temporary key information secrecy, which means that even the ephemeral secret key were compromised, the adversary can hardly acquire the agreed session key.

Efficient ID-Based Two Round Authenticated Group Key Agreement Protocol

Hong Jun Tang, Liehuang Zhu, Zijian Zhang

Group key agreement protocol allows all the members to agree upon a common session key, which may be used for later secure communication among all the participants. Through incorporating ID-based authenticated two-party key agreement protocol proposed by McCullagh et al. and constant round group key agreement proposed by Burmester and Desmedt, we propose a new ID-based two round authenticated group key agreement protocol which is more efficient than previously proposed protocols in terms of both communication and computation cost.

A Dynamic ID-based Authenticated Group Key Agreement Protocol

Jun Zheng, Cheng Yang, Jinrong Xue +1 more

Through the group key agreement, all group members could negotiate a common session key which is used in later secure communication. While simple GKA cannot provide enough security to resist the adversary's attack, and the malicious damage during the agreement makes the authenticated key agreement particularly important. In identity-based authentication, user's unique identity information is used as the public key, which makes it exempt from a series of management of the certification in public-key infrastructure.Thereby, the identity-based key agreement can simplify the key management procedures and reduce the risk of failure at the certification authority.Recently, several identity-based group key agreement protocols have been proposed, however most of them are either vulnerable to impersonation and replay attack or inefficient and unscalable. This paper proposes a novel authenticated group key agreement protocol which is based on bilinear pairings. It needs two rounds to negotiate the session key, and the low computational complexity makes the protocol efficient and scalable.Meanwhile, our protocol also ensures the forward and backward secrecy and the key independence.Under the Decisional Diffie-Hellman assumption, our protocol is proved to be secure against the adversary. 1.

An efficient protocol for two‐party explicit authenticated key agreement

Minghui Zheng, Huihua Zhou, Jing Chen

Summary Successful and efficient key management plays a critical role toward secured computing and communication systems. Many authenticated key agreement protocols have been proposed to meet the great challenges of information security. The two‐party key agreement protocol can be classified into two categories: implicit and explicit key authentications. This paper investigates the issue on authenticated two‐party key agreement protocol over an insecure public network and extends the existing implicit authenticated key agreement protocol into the explicit one by introducing the authenticators. The advantage of this explicit protocol is that it does not need any fixed public key infrastructure. Furthermore, this explicit protocol is provably secure in the random oracle under the Computation Gap Diffie‐Hellman assumption.
