Abstract

The squeezing properties in a new kind of nonlinear coherent states are discussed via the measured phase operators introduced by Barnett and Pegg. The conditions of squeezing are found and the relations between the squeezing and the coherent parameters are shown by numerical calculation.

Squeezing Properties of Measurement Phase Operator in a New Kind of Even and Odd Nonlinear Coherent States

Kong Li-jing

The spueezing properties in a new kind of even and odd nonlinear coherent states are discussed via the measurement phase operators introduced by Barnett S M and Pegg D T. It is found that there are only a kind of CS squeezing but there are not CN and SN squeezing. Using the numerical calculation, we studied the squeezing properties of CS. It is shown that the CS squeezing properties of the even and odd nonlinear coherent states are different from those of usual even and odd coherent states. Squeezing exists for the new even nonlinear coherent states in the wide range, while small range for the new odd nonlinear coherent states.

Sumei Huang

The squeezing properties in the superposition state of the vacuum state and the coherent state are studied by using the measured phase operators introduced by Barnett S M and Pegg D T.The effects of superposition parameter p and coherent parameters(R,θ) on the squeezing properties are discussed.

Phase properties of a new nonlinear coherent state

B Roy, P Roy

We study phase properties of a displacement operator type nonlinear coherent state. In particular we evaluate the Pegg-Barnett phase distribution and compare it with phase distributions associated with the Husimi Q function and the Wigner function. We also examine number-phase squeezing of this state.

Partial phase state as a nonlinear coherent state and some of its properties

A.‐S. F. Obada, Mahmoud Darwish

One introduces the phase state as a nonlinear coherent state. Some of its properties, such as the sub-Poissonian statistics, the squeezing effects, the phase properties in the Pegg-Barnett formalism and the quasiprobability function of the nonlinear coherent states, are calculated and discussed in this paper. The results show that the phase states are squeezed.
