Abstract

In this paper, the multi-photon field squeezing effects for the mixed absorptive-dispersive driven optical system in good cavity case is discussed. Under certain condition, for the single-photon case the squeezing effect of A1, one of the quadrature component of field, in the mixed systems is better than that in the pure absorptive systems. And for the two-photon case, the squeezing effect of A2, another quadrature component of field, may appear.

MULTI-PHOTON SPECTRUM OF TRANSMITTED LIGHT FOR THE MIXED ABSORPTIVE-DISPERSIVE DRIVEN OPTICAL SYSTEM IN GOOD CAVITY CASE

ZHANG LIN, LIN REN-MING, 福建师范大学物理系,福州,350007

In this paper, the multi-photon spectrum of transmitted light for the mixed absorptive-dispersive optical system in good cavity case is discussed. Owing to the influence of detuning θ and △, not all the various peak values of the spectrum appear at the point of ω = ω0, and the coefficient of different peak value is not the same. Therefore, the spectrum of transmitted light will show various characters, such as single peak, multi-peaks or asymmetric ones.

SQUEEZING EFFECT FOR OFF-RESONANT TWO-PHOTON LASER WITH AN INJECTED SIGNAL IN GOOD- CAVITY CASE

S. SACHULF, Gang Xiang Hu, Guojian Yang +1 more

The field squeezing effect for off-resonant two-photon laser with an injected signal in good-cavity limit is studied by means of Fokker-Planck equation of the peneralized Wigner distribution. Under certain off-resonance condition, the field squeezing effect of two-photon laser may be observed.

THE MULTI-PHOTON QUANTUM STATITISCAL THEORY OF DRIVEN OPTICAL SYSTEMS (II)——BAD CAVITY CASE

ZHANG LIN, LIN REN-MING, HUANG SI-XIAN +1 more

In this paper, the multi-photon FPE of driven optical systems are treated for bad cavity case. The semi-classical linear stability analysis are performed. The non-classical effects are discussed, and it is shown that in two-photon case the atom-atom correlation enhances the non-clasical effects. This is in opposite to the single-photon case, and different from the good cavity case. The two-photon spectrum of transmitted light and resonance fluorescense are obtained, where the Rabi frequency Ω∝y2 (y is the incident field).
