Abstract

We propose two physical schemes for implementing the simplest version of Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm(D-J) based on cavity QED technique. One is a perfect scheme, which can be generalized to multi-qubit inputs Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm. It can be realized with the help of controlled-NOT gates and single-qubit operations. The detailed process in cavity QED is discussed in the scheme. The other is a simpler scheme without controlled-NOT gates, which is only suit for the simplest version of Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm. The scheme only requires single-qubit operation. Thus the scheme can be realized easier than the former one.Our schemes would be an important step for quantum computer.

Efficient Scheme for Implementing the Deutsch-Jozsa Algorithm in Cavity QED

Xue-Ke Song, Liu Ye

A scheme is proposed for implementing a two-qubit quantum logic gate and realizing the Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm in cavity QED. In the scheme a three-level atom interacts with highly detuned cavity modes. The gate is not affected by the atomic decay rates because of the metastable lower levels are involved in the gate operations. The Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm is easily realized with current experimental techniques.

Scheme for implementing the Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm in cavity QED

Shi-Biao Zheng

We propose a scheme for realizing the Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm in cavity QED. The scheme is based on the resonant interaction of atoms with a cavity mode. The required experimental techniques are within the scope of what can be obtained in the microwave cavity QED setup. The experimental implementation of the scheme would be an important step toward more complex quantum computation in cavity QED.

Implementation of Deutsch-Jozsa Algorithm Via Cavity QED

Mei Jin-feng

A scheme for the implementation of the two-qubit Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm using cavity QED was proposed. The advantages of the proposal are demonstrated as follows. One is that the cavity feld is only virtually excited and the photon-number-dependent part in the effective Hamiltonian is cancelled so that the system is insensitive to the cavity decay and the thermal field. The other one is that we don't require any Hadamard operation, which makes the schematic setup simple. Therefore, the present scheme is available based on the current technologies.

Implementation ofn-qubit Deutsch–Jozsa algorithm using resonant interaction in cavity QED

Hong‐Fu Wang, Zhang Shou

We propose a scheme to implement the n -qubit Deutsch–Jozsa algorithm based on resonant interaction between the atoms and a single-mode cavity. In the scheme, the resonant transitions between two ground states and one excited state of an atom are changed alternately by adjusting the cavity frequency appropriately, and the operations required to complete the algorithm can be significantly simplified following the increment of the number of qubits. The implementation of the scheme in experiment would show the full power of quantum algorithm and would be significative and important for more complicated quantum algorithm in cavity quantum electrodynamics.

Proposal for Implementing the Three-Qubit Refined Deutsch–Jozsa Quantum Algorithm

Qi-Ping Su, Man Liu, Chui-Ping Yang

We propose a way to implement a three-qubit refined Deutsh-Jozsa (DJ) algorithm. The present proposal is based on the construction of the 35 $f$-controlled phase gates, which uses single-qubit $σ_z$ gates and two-qubit {\it standard} controlled-phase (CP) gates only. This proposal is implementable because a single-qubit $σ_z$ gate can be easily realized by applying a single classical pulse and a two-qubit CP gate has been experimentally demonstrated in various physical systems. Finally, it is noted that this proposal is quite general, and can be applied to implement a three-qubit refined DJ algorithm in a cavity-based or noncavity-based physical system.

Cavity QED implementation of the multi-qubit refined Deutsch–Jozsa algorithm

Wan Li Yang, Chang Yong Chen, Zhen Xu +1 more

We theoretically study the realization of a multi-qubit refined Deutsch-Jozsa (DJ) algorithm using resonant interaction of many Rydberg atoms with a single-mode microwave cavity, in which the multi-qubit controlled phase gates could be accomplished efficiently. We show how to achieve a multi-qubit refined DJ algorithm in high fidelity, even in the case of a weak cavity decay and some imperfection. We argue that the required operations in our scheme are almost within the present experimental possibilities.
