Abstract

In this paper, the influences of kerr medium coefficient and detuning on the entanglement evolution of cascade three-level atom in binomial light filed are studied based on quantum theory. The results show that the influences of kerr medium coefficient and detuning on the entanglement evolution are different with intensity of light field.Stable entanglement condition can be obtained by choosing an appropriate Kerr medium coefficient.

Influence of detuning on entanglement evolution of cascade three-level atom in Kerr medium

Kun Li

The effects of optical field coherence parameter, modular photon number,Kerr medium coefficient and detuning on the entanglement evolution of cascade three-level atom in Kerr medium are studied based on quantum theory and numerical calculation. The results show that the entanglement between atoms is enhanced in stronger optical field and the entanglement become steady by increasing the modular photon number.Kerr effect is remarkable in more photon number. With invariable Kerr medium, the increase of detuning will strengthen the entanglement strength, but this effect primarily incarnates on initial time of interacting.

The influences of Kerr medium on entanglement quantity of three-level cascade atom are analyzed and discussed by using entire quantum theory. From the computation of system quantum reduction entropy,it is shown that the influence of coupling intensity on system's entanglement quantity is not evident and stable entanglement condition can be obtained by choosing an appropriate Kerr medium coefficient.

Quantum entanglement of the binomial field interacting with a cascade three-level atom

Yao-Hua Hu, Mao-Fa Fang, Xiang-Ping Liao +2 more

Quantum entanglement between a binomial field and a cascade three level atom is studied by using quantum entropy theory, and the influences of the initial state parameters of the field and the atom on the quantum entanglement are discussed. The results show that quantum entanglement of all states from the coherent state to number state interacting with a cascade three level atom can be displayed by using the binomial field property. Steady field-atom qutrit entanglement state can be prepared via the appropriate selection of system parameters.

Atomic Population in the System of the Three-Level Cascade Atom Interacting with Squeezed Coherent Light Field in a Kerr Medium

Liu Su-mei

In this paper, the atomic population evolution vs. time in the system of three-level cascade atom interacting with squeezed coherent light field in a Kerr medium is investigated by means of the interacting picture and the quantum theory. Meanwhile, the influence of Kerr medium μ, the squeezed light field factor γ and the coherent vibration amplitude |α| 2 of the field-atom on the atomic population is also discussed. It has been shown that the intensity coefficient μ of Kerr medium, the squeezed light field factor γ and the coherent vibration amplitude |α| 2 of the light field influence the quantum collapse-revival periodicity of the evolution curves of atomic population directly. And the non-linearity Kerr medium μ can weaken the interaction of the atom with the field. When Kerr medium μ and the interaction of the field-atom increase to a certain value, the correlation degree of light-field and atom will weaken and disappear.

Entanglement in the system of a V-type three-level atom interacting with the two-mode odd-even entangled coherent field in Kerr medium

Zou Yan

The quantum reduced entropy properties of a V-type three-level atom interacting with the two-mode odd-even entangled coherent field in Kerr medium are studied by means of quantum theory. The effects of the Kerr medium's coupling constant, the detuning, mean photon numbers of the fields on the entropy are discussed. The results show that the coupling strength of Kerr medium with the field influences the frequency of the entropy. The maximum values of entropy evolution decreases with the increasing of the detuning, meanwhile the frequencies increase, and the needed time to get the maximum value from the initial value zero is longer. When the mean photon numbers are too less or too more, the maximum values of entropy oscillation are much smaller.

The Field Entropy Evolution of Two Atoms Interacting with Light Field in the Kerr Medium

In this paper, the field entropy evolution of two coupling atoms interacting with a single mode light field in Kerr medium is studied by means of the quantum theory. It has been shown that:the Kerr medium and the interaction of atoms will influence the periodicity of the evolution of the field entropy, make the connected degree between field and atoms weaken;the excited field intensity also influence the periodicity of the evolution of the field entropy, the connected degree between field and atoms is strengthened first and is weakened later when increases.
