In this paper, we discuss the challenges of quantum computing to traditional cryptography and the latest development of post-quantum cryptography as a coping strategy. As quantum computing advances, cryptographic algorithms that rely on the complexity of classical computers, such as RSA and ECC, are at risk of failing, which has prompted the cryptography community to seek new encryption solutions. Post-quantum cryptography focuses on encryption technology and develops resistance to quantum computing attacks. It studies encryption schemes based on lattice theory, multivariate polynomials, coding theory, and hash functions. In addition, lattice-based cryptography is critical. It builds multiple algorithms, including RLWE and NTRU, focusing on LWE and SIS issues, demonstrating strong potential in a quantum computing environment. In terms of signature algorithms, Dilithium and Falcon lattice-based schemes are the focus of standardization. In the simulation analysis of these algorithms, we evaluated their security, efficiency, and compatibility, laying the theoretical and practical foundation for the cryptosystem transformation in the post-quantum era.
There is a security threat to the traditional cryptography because of the emergence of quantum computation. Quantum computers can break through many cryptosystems based on mathematical puzzles. The post-cryptography has been established for the sake of the security. It has been proved that McEliece public-key cryptosystem based on error-correcting codes can resist quantum attacks. In this paper, several new generating algorithms of the quantum Bose-Chaudhuri-Hocquenghem (BCH) codes have been proposed, and the quantum BCH codes can correct the errors including bit-flip and phase-flip. At the same time, the quantum McEliece public-key cryptosystem and quantum Niederreiter public key cryptosystem have been designed by us on the basis of quantum BCH codes in this paper, and their encryption and decryption procedures are created in detail. Our cryptosystem not only retains the advantages of postquantum computation, but also can encrypt or decrypt in quantum state. From the perspective of computational complexity theory, both cryptosystems can resist the attacks of Shor algorithm and Grover algorithm very well. The Niederreiter classical digital signature is designed by us according to the structure characteristics of quantum BCH codes.

Quantum computing is set to revolutionize the field of cryptography, posing a significant threat to the security of current public key cryptography systems. This article explores the challenges posed by quantum computing to existing cryptographic algorithms and presents the latest advancements in quantum-resistant algorithms. By examining post-quantum cryptography (PQC) techniques, including lattice-based, hash-based, and code-based cryptographic algorithms, this paper discusses their potential to provide secure communication in the quantum era. Furthermore, the article reviews the progress made in the standardization of quantum-resistant algorithms and highlights the future directions for ensuring the robustness of public key cryptography in the face of quantum advancements.
Due to the need to maintain confidentiality, redundancy, and openness, the usage of Blockchain and other DLTs has dramatically advanced in recent years, and is being recommended for various applications. In blockchain, these capabilities are supplied by means of hash functions and public-key encryption. However, the rapid development of quantum computation in the near future has opened the door to the Grover and Shor algorithms. These algorithms challenge both public and hash encryption, causing blockchains to redesign and use quantum attack-tolerant cryptosystems; this produces cryptosystems which are considered post-quantum cryptosystems, which are quantum-resistant. This paper reviews current scientists on quantum blockchain for such purposes. In addition, the major challenges are studied with the most important post-quantum blockchain systems. In addition, the most promising post quantum signature encryption and digital blockchain signature schemes are detailed in terms of the functionality and durability of the most promising public signatures. In this article, researchers and developers in blockchain have an extensive perspective and practical advice on post-quantum blockchain protection.
The use of public key cryptosystems range from securely encrypting emails and files to creating digital signatures for non-repudiation. The security of public key cryptosystems is based on computationally "unsolvable" complex mathematical problems. This tends to change with the introduction of quantum computers that undoubtedly pose a threat to the current schemes. In response to that extensive research has been conducted that resulted in several cryptosystems that are believed to be quantum resistant. This thesis presents a concise overview of multiple hash-based signature schemes and provides a comparative description and analysis of them. The comparisons are based on different signature scheme properties, such as key sizes, signature sizes and security level provided. The proposed quantum resistant schemes are also compared to the standard schemes used today, such as RSA and ECDSA.
