Abstract

The wave functions of the systems are derived by using a Λ type three-level atom or a V type three-level atom interacting resonantly with two-mode field in pure number state. Through changing the interaction time, we can find that this system will generate entangled GHZ state in appropriate coupling coefficients, and the coupling coefficients while that the time of generating entangled GHZ state will change with the variation of system state. This feasible scheme is proposed to generate entangled GHZ state.

Entangled W state can be applied to quantum information processing in the quantum entanglement, and presented a scheme generation of entangled W state via entangled GHZ state in the single mode cavity field.Three two-level atoms(1,2,3) initially in the W entanglement state, then two atoms 2 and 3 are injected into single mode cavity field to make interaction, while atom 1 is far from the cavity field. The result shows that entangled W state can be generated by manipulating the interactions between cavity field and two atoms in appropriate coupling coefficients when atom 1 is be detected.

Simple schemes for generating the three-atom W state and the Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger state among nonidentical atoms

Xin Ji, Tianquan Lü, Shou Zhang

We present two schemes for generating the three-atom W state and the GHZ state with one ?-type atom and two 2-level atoms interacting resonantly with two modes or one mode of a two-mode field in turns. The schemes neither require the three atoms to go through the cavity simultaneously (which is difficult to realize in experiment), nor require the detection of photons. The schemes work beyond the strong-coupling regime, so that we can obtain high-fidelity entanglement.

Generation of Multi-atom Entangled States via the Raman Atom-Cavity-Field Interaction

Zheng Shi-Biao, Guo Guang-Can

A scheme is presented for preparing multi-atom entangled states based on the Raman atom-cavity-field interaction. After several degenerate Λ-type three-level atoms interact with an appropriately prepared single-mode cavity field through Raman coupling, a two-level atom, resonant with the cavity, is sent through the cavity and a Ramsey zone. The detection of the two-level atom leaves the Λ-type atoms in an entangled state.

Preparation of Three-atom Entangled W StateVia Resonant Atom-field Interaction

Shao-Hua Xiang

We present a simple and realizable scheme to generate three-atom entangled W state, based on the resonant interaction of three two-level atoms with one single-mode cavity field. It is shown that such state can easily be achieved by controlling the interaction time of atom-cavity-field and the coupling constant without the detection of photon number within the cavity. In addition, the experimental feasibility within the realm of cavity QED is analyzed.

Generating an entangled coherent state of two cavity modes in a three-level Λ-type atomic system

Qing-Xia Mu, Yonghong Ma, Ling Zhou

In this paper, we present a scheme to generate an entangled coherent state by considering a three-level Λ- type atom interacting with a two-mode cavity driven by classical fields. The two-mode entangled coherent state can be obtained under large detuning conditions. Considering the cavity decay, an analytical solution is deduced.

Generation of entangled coherent states for two cavity modes via resonant interaction with a V-type three-level atom

Zheng Shi-Biao

This paper proposes a scheme for the generation of entangled coherent states for two cavity modes. In the scheme a V-type three-level atom is sent through a two-mode cavity filled with a coherent field. After the atom–cavity interaction and detection of the atomic state the cavity modes may evolve to a superposition of two-mode coherent states. As the scheme is based on resonant atom–cavity interaction, the required interaction time is short, which is important in view of the decoherence. Moreover, additional classical pulses are unnecessary before and after the atom–cavity interaction.
