Abstract

The paper has analysed the origin of wave-particle dualism of quantum mechanics with historical viewpoint, and the process which was determined. It has pointed out the structure contradiction of quanyum theory in initial stages, and considered that we should properly understand the physical meaning of wave-particle dualism in the system of modern quantum mechanics. It cannot come into existence as the core basic condition of quantum theory and longer, merely is a sort of classic analogy of localization meaning. However,it is anything but a sort of constitute principle of universality.

DOUBLE SLIT EXPERIMENT AND WAVE-PARTICLE DUALITY

V. Abbasov

Abstract The double-slit experiment is a classic experiment that presents the clearest manifestation of wave-particle duality, one of the fundamental principles of quantum mechanics. The double-slit experiment still remains the phenomenon that demonstrates wave-particle duality at the most fundamental level. This phenomenon quantitatively and conceptually demonstrates that microscopic objects can behave like both waves and particles at the same time. This article provides an in-depth analysis of the physical nature of dualism, the mechanism of formation of the interference pattern, and the impact of the act of observation on the dynamics of quantum systems. The need for a new perspective on this topic is due to the fact that the current uncertainty in the interpretation of quantum reality has not yet been completely eliminated, and the boundaries between classical and quantum behavior in microscopic objects are still being explored. The results presented here restructure the deep mechanisms of the interference picture, more clearly frame the relationship between observation and wavefunction collapse, and provide a quantum. Since the article attempts to provide a complete answer to the mechanism of the formation of wave-particle duality, extensive space is given to sections such as historical development, theoretical models, modern research, etc. New approaches to this phenomenon have been developed using modern research and string theory. As a result, a new mathematical expression has been proposed that explains the reasons for the initial emergence of wave-particle duality, and is also important for string theory. The article explains the measurement problem with a more effective physical structure and ontological model.

On the wave nature of particles

Berat Tuğrul Uğurlu

The main goal of the present article is to elucidate the wave-particle duality problem by giving an unambiguous mathematical expression of the origin of the wave nature of particles. It is indicated that the wave nature of particles is originated from the multidimensional universe approach and under the one-dimensional universe assumption the wave nature vanishes. The one-dimensional universe assumption also gives a deterministic explanation for the double-slit experiment and answers how a single electron can interfere with itself. The locality paradox is also discussed. It is demonstrated that the same principle shows how a local measurement can determine the state of a distant system. The theoretical framework presented here may help us to understand various quantum physics phenomena. i.e., the superposition principle, wave function collapse, and entanglement.

From the origin of quantum concepts to the establishment of quantum mechanics

M A El'yashevich

The article deals with the origins and development, in the first quarter of the 20th century, of the fundamental ideas advanced by Planck and Einstein and by Bohr and de Broglie concerning the quantum of action, the quanta of energy and the quanta of light, the stationary states of atomic systems and jumplike transitions between them, the correspondence principle, and the particle-wave dualism. It is shown how the development of the quantum concepts have led to two approaches to the creation of quantum mechanics by Heisenberg, Born, and Dirac in algebraic form and by Schrodinger in analytic form. The main stages in the evolution of nonrelativistic quantum mechanics are described, namely the development of wave mechanics and matrix mechanics, the proofs of their equivalence, the physical interpretation of the wave function, the generalized formulation of quantum mechanics as a unified theory, and the discovery of the uncertainty relations. The most important trends in the development of quantum mechanics in the course of its evolution are considered. A complete bibliography of the main period of evolution of quantum mechanics (July 1925–March 1928), classified by topics and by time of publication, is included.

The Origin of Wave Particle Duality

Wei Fan

what is the origin of wave-particle duality in quantum mechanics? This is an unsolved mystery in modern physics. In the latest research, I propose a possible explanation for the origin of wave particle duality. At the same time, I also proposed a feasible way to explain the origin of quantum and quantum entanglement.

The Historical Logic on the Basic Theory of Physics—A Summary on the Cosmic Continuum Theory

Xijia Wang

Any scientific system has a unified basic theory. But physics has no unified basic theory in the modern sense. Classical mechanics, relativity and quantum mechanics have their own basic concepts, categories and principles, so none of them can be regarded as true basic theories of physics. Cosmic Continuum Theory holds that the continuity and discreteness of the universe are fundamental issues related to the unification of physics. Because the contradiction between quantum non-locality and local reality is the fundamental obstacle to the unification of physics, while locality and non-locality correspond to the continuity and discreteness of physical reality respectively. The cosmic continuum theory introduces mathematical continuum and axiomatic ideas to reconstruct the basic theory of physics, and by the correspondence of existence and its dimensions to achieve the unification of the essence of physical reality, by introducing the cosmic continuum hypothesis to achieve the unification of the continuity and discreteness of physical reality, by introducing axiomatic methods to achieve formal unification of the foundations on physics. From the perspective of Cosmic Continuum, classical mechanics, relativity and quantum mechanics are no longer the basic theories of physics, but three branch theories of physics that are respectively applicable to macroscopic, cosmoscopic and microcosmic systems.
