Abstract

Besed upon the quantization of a mesoscopic dissipation transmission line, the squeezing effect of the line in the amplitude Schrodinger-Cat state was studied. It is shown that the compression feature of the line depend on not only the the amplitude Schrodinger-Cat state, but also the distribution parameters and positon of the line, the quantum noise can be farthest compressed when the average photon number is one.

Starting from the classical equation of motion a dissipation transmission line, the mesoscopic dissipation transmission line is quantized. The quantum effects of the line under excited coherent states are investigated. The results indicate that the quantum fluctuations of the line are not only determined by the circuit parameter and the states of the circuit, but also dependent on the position of the line.

Quantum fluctuations of current in a mesoscopic lossless transmission line at finite temperature

AN Guang-lei

By making use of thermo-field dynamics (TFD), the quantum fluctuations of current of the mesoscopic lossless transmission line in the vacuum state, the coherent states and the squeezed states with thermal noise have been studied. Thus the dependence of the fluctuations on temperature in these states at finite temperature can be seen. It is shown that the quantum fluctuations depend on not only the parameters of the transmission line but also the environmental temperature T. The higher the temperature, the more quantum noise the line exhibits.

Quantum Effects of a Dissipative Mesoscopic Circuit with Mutual Inductance

Yinghua Ji, Yi-you Nie, Le Jian-Xin +1 more

We study the quantum fluctuations of the charge and current of two L-C dissipative mesoscopic circuit with the mutual inductance in the vacuum state. Our results show that the system state will evolve to a squeezed coherent state under the effect of external source. We find that the squeezing amplitude parameter is relative to the parameters of circuit and the mutual-inductance coefficient in the existence of dissipation. When the circuit has no dissipation or there is complete coupling between two meshes, the squeezing amplitude parameter only depends on the capacitance's ratio.

Based upon the quantization of a mesoscopic lossless transmission line, analysis is made for the quantum fluctuations of the current and current gradient of the line in the vacuum state and squeezed vacuum state, especialy for the difference between the quantum fluctuations of the transmission line and LC circuit.

Reduced quantum fluctuation in mesoscopic Josephson junction with Schrödinger-cat state field

Shao Bin, Zou Jian

We consider the system of a mesoscopic Josephson junction interacting with a quantized radiation field and investigate the fluctuation properties of the junction variables with time evolution. Our results show that, due to the quantum entanglement between the field and junction, the mesoscopic Josephson junction subsystem can exhibit squeezing behavior.
