Abstract

A model is built when atoms in the radioactive field.By means of the perturbation method, the probability is solved for atoms in two energy levels. The action of atoms in the radiation of weak broadband is discussed. When v is close to v_(ba),and v_(ba)t1,if E_bE_a,atoms absorb energy from the radioactive field,if E_aE_b,atoms transmit energy. And the conclusion is gotten that the corresponding frequency of transition probability is between [v_(ba)-(1/t)] and [v_(ba)+(1/t)].

THE EXPLORATION OF THE INTERACTION OF TWO ENERGY LEVELS ATOM AND THE RADIOACTIVE FIELD

Yuexin Liu

Based on the quantum theory, the artiele discusses, by means of perturbation method, the two exceptional cases of the intenaction of two energy levels stom and the radiation field under the circumstance of damping action. The conclusion is that the atom oscillates between the two energy levels in the condition of strong field, while in weak field, the probability function in creases at the beginning but then decays in the light of inder law.

Application of multiple-scale perturbation theory to atomic systems interacting with high and low frequency electromagnetic fields

Abstract The interaction of three and two-level atomic systems with two electromagnetic fields, a weak near resonant high-frequency and a strong off-resonant low-frequency ones, is analyzed by applying the method of multiple-scale perturbation theory. We consider two examples: (1) a three-level Λ system interacting with a weak XUV field at the high-energy transition and a strong IR field at the adjacent low-energy transition. The IR field will periodically Stark modulate the energy of the most excited state, which will result in generation of sidebands of the XUV field at the frequencies multiple of the IR field modulation frequency; (2) a two-level atom interacting with a weak near-resonant high-frequency and an off-resonant low-frequency field, which is related to the quantum amplification by superradiant emission of radiation problem.

Energy of the interaction of atom and the radioactive field

Yuexin Liu

Through Hamilton’s operator, mathematic model was built systematically when atom and the radioactive field interact.By means of perturbation approximate method, the Schrodinger equation included time was solved and the systematic general energy was calculated. This article proves fatherly that it is a conservation of the sum of atom system and outside magnetic filed.

Study on the gain of light interacting with the dielectric

Yuexin Liu

Taking the atoms in dielectric as the harmonic oscillator, and building a model of light and dielectric in the circumstance of light radiation approximate with weak signal, the gain of light was solved with the method of quantum mechanics. When the frequency of light radiation is similar with the natural frequency of harmonic oscillator, the conclusion is gotten that if atoms’absorption coefficient k0,then the electromagnetic wave rises in accordance with the regularity of index, and the dielectric gives gain if k0,then the dielectric will absorb radiation.

The multiphoton transitions in the presence of additional strong nonresonant radiation

І. І. Бондар, В. В. Суран

Two-photon transitions between the perturbed 6s21S0ground state and the perturbed 5d7s3D2state of a Ba atom have been experimentally investigated with different perturbing and exciting radiations. A strong dependence of the probability of two-photon transitions between these perturbed states on the mutual orientation of the electric vectors of the exciting and perturbing radiations has been found.
