Abstract

We propose an experimentally feasible scheme to implement the optimal asymmetric economical 1→3 phase-covariant cloning, which works without ancilla, based on cavity QED. In our scheme, two of the three atoms simultaneously interact with a cavity field and they are driven by classical fields. The scheme is insensitive to the cavity field states and the cavity decay. Therefore, it may be realized in experiment.

Scheme to Implement Optimal Asymmetric Economical Phase-Covariant Quantum Cloning in Cavity QED

Wen‐Hai Zhang, Dai Jie-lin, Ye Liu

We propose an experimentally feasible scheme to implement the optimal asymmetric economical 1 → 2 phase-covariant quantum cloning in two dimensions based on the cavity QED technique. The protocol is very simple and only two atoms are required. Our scheme is insensitive to the cavity field states and cavity decay. During the processes, the cavity is only virtually excited and it thus greatly prolongs the efficient decoherent time. Therefore, it may be realized in experiment.

Our scheme is insensitive to the cavity field states and cavity decay. During the telecloning process, the cavity is only virtually excited, thus it greatly prolongs the efficient decoherent time. Optimal 1 → 3 economical phase-covariant quantum cloning with superconducting quantum interference devices in a cavity

Ye Liu, Li Jin, Wen‐Hai Zhang

We propose a scheme to implement the optimal 1 → 3 economical phase-covariant quantum cloning with superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) in a cavity. During the process, no transfer of quantum information between the SQUIDs and cavity is required. The cavity field is only virtually excited. The scheme is insensitive to cavity decay. Therefore, the scheme can be experimentally realized in the range of current cavity QED techniques.
