Abstract

Based on the fact that the generalized Jaynes-Cummings model can describe two collectively radiation atoms and possesses a super symmetric structure an invariant is constructed from the super symmetric generators in the eigenspace of the super-symmetric generator N'.Thus the invariant method is used to solve this Jaynes-Cummings model.

Solving a Generalized Jaynes-Cummings Model by Supersymmetric Unitary Transformation

Lu Huai-Xin, Wang Xiao-Qin, Fan Hong-Yi

For the generalized Jaynes-Cummings model Hamiltonian which can describe two collectively radiation atoms, we find its supersymmetric structure. Based on supersymmetric quantum mechanics theory, we introduce a supersymmetric unitary transformation, in which the supersymmetric unitary transformation operator can be constructed by supersymmetric generators of the super-Lie algebra, to diagonalize the Hamiltonian. On doing so, its eigenvalue and eigenstates are obtained.

On the basis of the fact that the two-level multiphoton Jaynes-Cummings(TLMJC)model possesses a supersymmetric structure,an invariant is constructed in terms of the supersymmetric generators by working in the sub-Hilbertspace corresponding to a particular eigenvalue of the conserved supersymmetric generators(the time-independent invariant). In this paper, wew investigate the invariant-related unitary transformation approach to exact solutions of the time-dependent TLMJC model.

In this paper, the(generalized) Jaynes-Cummings(J-C) model, which describes two-level collective radiation atoms interacting with two mode of radiation in two photon case, was generalized to the multi-photon case. After finding its supersymmetric generators, the energy eigenvalues and digenvectors of it are readily obtained by the virtue of supersymmetric method.
