Abstract

Quantum teleportation has important applications in quantum computation and quantum communication. Two protocols for transmitting an unknown single-photon state and an unknown non-maximally entangled EPR state are presented by using the three-photon state via collective rotation noise channel. The protocols can also be generalized to teleport multi-photon state.

Two protocols for transmitting an unknown single-photon state and an unknown non-maximally entangled EPR state are presented by using the quantum channel of three-phonton GHZ (Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger) state, which can be realized with unitary success probability when collective noise is taken into account. The protocols can also be generalized to transmit multi-photon state or to realize quantum communication in collective noise channel.

Quantum Teleportation Against Collective Noise

Gui Yang

The paper presents two quantum teleportation protocols against two kinds of collective noise,collective-dephasing noise and collective-rotation noise firstly with four-photon entangled states.Alice, the information state sender, prepares different four-photon entangled states according to the noise, and sends two of them to the information receiver—Bob,and the other two reserved.Alice makes Bell-based measurement between the information state and one of the reserved states. Thus part of the information of the information state will divert to Bob's photon. Then Alice and Bob make single photon measurement on related photons.According to the results of the single photon measurement,Bob makes appropriate unitary operations on the photon without the single photon measurement, and the information state will be obtained, therefore the quantum teleportation under collective noise is realized. The protocols involve two parties(Alice and Bob),and it can be generalized to multiparty controlled teleportation protocols. Moreover,it just needs Bell-based measurement and single photon measurement,so it is feasible in the experiment.

Probabilistic Teleportation of an Arbitrary Two-Particle State and Its Quantum Circuits

Zhan-Ying Guo, Fang Jian-Xing, Zhu Shi-Qun +1 more

Two simple schemes for probabilistic teleportation of an arbitrary unknown two-particle state using a non-maximally entangled EPR pair and a non-maximally entangled GHZ state as quantum channels are proposed. After receiving Alice's Bell state measurement results, Bob performs a collective unitary transformation on his inherent particles without introducing the auxiliary qubit. The original state can be probabilistically teleported. Meanwhile, quantum circuits for realization of successful teleportation are also presented.

Probabilistic teleportation of an arbitrary three-particle state via a partial entangled four-particle state and a partial entangled pair

Hong‐Yi Dai, Cheng-Zu Li, Ping‐Xing Chen

We present a scheme to probabilistically teleport an arbitrary and unknown three-particle state via a two-particle non-maximally entangled state and a four-particle non-maximally entangled state as the quantum channel. With the help of Bell-state measurements, an arbitrary three-particle state can be perfectly teleported if a receiver introduces a collective unitary transformation. All kinds of unitary transformations are given in greater detail. This scheme can be generalized to the teleportation of an arbitrary and unknown multiparticle state.

Quantum noise and probabilistic teleportation

Arun Kumar Pati, Pankaj Agrawal

In the presence of quantum noise a perfect EPR pair becomes imperfect and may be described by a non-maximally entangled pair. With non-maximally entangled state as a resource one cannot teleport an unknown state faithfully. Typically, one has to perform either local filtering or entanglement concentration and then follow the standard teleportation method. In this talk, we will present a new protocol that uses neither local filtering nor entanglement concentration to teleport an unknown state. We show that using non-maximally entangled measurements one can teleport an unknown state with unit fidelity but with a probability that is less than unit. Ours is a generalized quantum teleportation protocol that encompasses probabilistic as well as deterministic teleportation scenarios. We describe the probabilistic teleportation in terms of quantum operations and give explicit expressions for success and failure probabilities. This may have practical value in real experiments, and even may be tested with current technology.

Teleportation of arbitrary three-particle GHZ state using single three-particle maximal GHZ state or two EPR states

Yan‐Ling Li, Jian Feng, 聊城大学物理科学与信息工程学院,聊城 252059;聊城大学光通信研究所,聊城 252059

Two schemes, using respectively the single three-particle maximal Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state and the two Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) states as quantum channels, for deterministic teleportation of arbitrary three-particle GHZ state are proposed. These schemes are also generalized into the case of teleportation of arbitrary n-particle GHZ state (n≥4). The fidelity of teleportation when the quantum channels are affected by noise is discussed. It is found that when using single three-particle GHZ state which is affected by noise as quantum channel, the fidelity of teleportation is only related to the entanglement of the channel. However, when using two EPR states which is affected by noise as quantum channels, the fidelity of teleportation is related to the entanglement of both the channels and the unknown state to be delivered. Compared with previous proposals, our schemes require a reduced number of entangled states as quantum channels to achieve the same task.
