Abstract

The N-th power H-squeezing effects of photon field for the photon-added two-mode squeezed vacuum state a+mb+m|ξ were numerically studied. It is shown that the photon field can exhibit the N-th power H-squeezing effects (N = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,…); for higher power H-squeezing (N ≥2) and larger γ (γ is the squeezing parameter), as m increases, the N-th power H-squeezing effects increase.

The nonlinear higher-order difference squeezing(N-th Power X-squeezing effects) of photon field for the mode of a photon-added double-mode SU(2) coherent state |M,ζ;m〉=A_ma~(+m)|M,ζ〉 is investigated with numeric method. It is shown that the photon field can exhibit the nonlinear higherorder difference squeezing(N-th power X-squeezing effects N=1,2,3,4,5,…),when M increases, the N-th power X-squeezing effects increase, while as m and N increase, the squeezing effects decrease.

Photon Statistics of Photon-Added and Photon-Subtracted Two-Mode Squeezed Vacuum State

H. Lu

We introduce states a † m | ξ ⟩ and a m | ξ ⟩, where| ξ ⟩ is a two-mode squeezed vacuum state. We examine the properties of these states by analytic derivation. Because of the entanglement between the modes of the field, photon adding (or substracting) for one of the modes results in interesting outcomes. For a two-mode squeezed vacuum state, the effect of annihilation of m a-photons is just the same as creation of m b-photons. Annihilation of photons of mode a (or mode b ) actually increases the mean number of photons of mode a and mode b . We also calculate Mandel Q parameter, cross-correlation function and squeezing of the field.

Equal-order Y-squeezing Effects of Photon-added and Photon-subtracted Pair Coherent State

Hou Bang-pin

The equal-order Y-squeezing effects of photon-added pair coherent state and photon-subtracted pair coherent state are studied numerically. It is shown that the photon field can exhibit the equal-order K-th power Y-squeezing effects, but when photons are added to mode a of a pair coherent state or subtracted from mode b of a pair coherent state,i.e.as the number of photon pair m increases, the equal-order K-th power Y-squeezing effects of these two states both decrease with the similar trend.

The N th-power squeezing of field amplitude in the vacuum state multiphoton Jaynes-Cummings model

Chuan‐Kui Wang

The properties of the N th- power squeezing of field amplitude in the k- photon Jaynes-Cummings model of an atom initially in atomic coherent state coupling with vacuum field are investigated in this paper. The results show that the field exhibit not only the N = k th-power squeezing of the amplitude but also the N = (k/2) th-power squeezing when k is even.

Non-linear Higher-order Squeezing Effects for the Pair Coherent State

Jiang Jun-qin

In this paper, the non-linear higher-order squeezing effects of photon field for the pair coherent state |=A_0n=0~nn!|n,n are studied. It is shown that the photon field can exhibit the equal-order N-th power Y-squeezing effects (N=2,3,4,5,) but cannot exhibit the equal-order N-th power H-squeezing effects, the pair coherent state is N-H minimum uncertainty state.
