Abstract

By the full quantum theory, the dynamical evolution of the motion of C.M of two atoms in the two-mode squeezed vacuum states was studied.Through caculating, the reduced density matrix of the relative position of two atoms and decoherence factor were obtained. It was found out:1)the spontaneous radiation of the couple of atoms could induce the decoherence for the motion of C.M in the two-mode squeezed vacuum state;2)the phenomenon of quantum decoherence became more clear with the squeezed factor changing bigger.

Spatial Decoherence Dynamics of Two Qubits Induced by Initial States of Cavity field

We study the spatial decoherence dynamics for the relative position of two atoms interacting with a single-mode cavity which are assumed initially in three different states. It is assumed that the atomic relative position is in the state of a superposition of two Gaussian wave packets and that the cavity field is initially in thermal state,Fock state and squeezed state respectively.Based on the reduced density matrix for the atomic relative position,we study the influence of the atom-field interaction on the quantum coherence of atomic relative position. We find that for different initial states of the cavity field, the quantum decoherence dynamics of the atomic relative position is different. When the cavity field is initially in a thermal state or Fock state, the spatial coherence oscillates with decay and revival periodically, while when the cavity field is initially in a squeezed state, the spatial coherence of the two-atom relative position is partially destroyed, and the decay degree is connected with the value of the atomic relative position in a cosine law.

Yang Rui-fang

The quantum entanglement properties of the two-mode squeezing vacuum field interacting with the atomic motion via two-photon transition were studied based on quantum theory. The influences of atomic motion and the field structure on the quantum entanglement were investigated as the initial state of atom is in the excited state. The results showed that the degree of entanglement between two mode vacuum fields is influenced by the values of velocity of the atomic motion and the structure of the field-mode,but the periodic evolution of the entanglement properties cannot be destroyed.

Entropy squeezing of the moving atom interacting with the two-mode squeezing vacuum field

Yang Rui-fang

The information entropy squeezing properties of the atom in motion interacting with the two-mode squeezing vacuum field via two-photon transition are studied by means of quantum theory. The influences of the velocity of atomic motion, the field structure and the parameter of squeezing field on the information entropy squeezing properties of the atom are investigated as the initial atom is in any state. The results indicate that the value of squeezed component of the atomic dipole, squeezed frequency, amplitude and squeezed direction of the atomic information entropy can be controlled by choosing the atomic initial state, the velocity of atomic motion, the field structure and the squeezing factor of field and the squeezing phase angle of the field, respectively. In the longer time, squeezing effects of the atom in motion can be obtained by choosing the system parameters. The mixing degree of atomic initial state has no influence on the entropy squeezing of the atom in motion.
