Abstract

The entangled properties of motorial atom and field in the two-photon Jaynes-Cummings model with atomic motion are studied by using the quantum information theory. It is shown that:(1) When the parameter p of the field model structure with atomic motion is smaller, the entanglement of system is not provided with the characteristic of periodic oscillations, when the value of p is greater, the entanglement of system is obviously provided with the characteristic of periodic oscillations, the oscillation period is as much again as atom is resting. When motorial atom is prepared in ground state or excited state, the system is in the disentangled state;when motorial atom is prepared in coherent superpositions states, the entanglement occurs between motorial atom and field.

Xiaojuan Liu, Mao-Fa Fang, Qingping Zhou +1 more

The dynamics of the two_photon Jaynes_Cummings model with atomic motion are studied by using the quantum information theory, and the quantum echanical channel representing the state change of atom is given; the quantum mutual entropy and reduced entropy of the atom are derived. The influences of the atomic motion and the field structure on the quantum mutual entropy are examined. It is shown that the properties of quantum mechanical channel are strongly dependent on the atomic motion, the field model structure, and the entanglement between the atom and the field.

The Entangled of Cavity Field and Atom in The Two-Photon Jaynes-Cummings Model and The Degree of Entanglement

Xiaoping Li

We present a measure for generating entangled state of atom-cavity field, which is prepared based on the two-photon Jaynes-Cummings model of atom-cavity field interaction. Through changing the interaction time, the degree of entanglement of the atom-cavity field hasa periodic change. It is shown that the quantum entanglement state will stay in the maximally entangled state for a long time when the detuning is equal to Rabi frequency.

SPONTANEOUS EMISSION OF ATOM AND QUANTUM ENTANGLED STATE IN J-C MODEL

Zuo Zhan

Through studying the interaction between a two_level atom and a single mode emission field in rotating_wave approximations of Jaynes_Cummings Model, the atom and the field are in a coupled superposition state_entangled state is obtained. The expectation value of atom dipole moment is always zero, but the fluctuation of dipole moment is a constant, but not zero. Therefore it is concluded that the spontaneous emission of atoms is caused by the fluctuation of dipole moment, not by the dipole moment oscillation of the atomic system. The property of the entanglement is also studied and it is obtained that information entropy and the amount of entanglement are oscillating with time_evolution periodically and are related with the coupling coefficient and detuning. The quantum state changes between disentangled state and entangled state. The quantum state will be entangled state for a long time when the detuning is small.

Entanglement dynamics of a moving multi-photon Jaynes—Cummings model in mixed states

Lei Tan, Yuqing Zhang, Zhong-Hua Zhu

Using the algebraic dynamical method, the entanglement dynamics of an atom-field bipartite system in a mixed state is investigated. The atomic center-of-mass motion and the field-mode structure are also included in this system. We find that the values of the detuning and the average photon number are larger, the amplitude of the entanglement is smaller, but its period does not increase accordingly. Moreover, with the increase of the field-mode structure parameter and the transition photon number, the amplitude of the entanglement varies slightly while the oscillation becomes more and more fast. Interestingly, a damping evolution of the entanglement appears when both the detuning and the atomic motion are considered simultaneously.

A Study on Quantum Entanglement Between Two Modes in the System of One Moving Atom Interacting with the Two-Mode Squeezing Vacuum Fields

Yang Rui-fang

The quantum entanglement properties of the two-mode squeezing vacuum field interacting with the atomic motion via two-photon transition were studied based on quantum theory. The influences of atomic motion and the field structure on the quantum entanglement were investigated as the initial state of atom is in the excited state. The results showed that the degree of entanglement between two mode vacuum fields is influenced by the values of velocity of the atomic motion and the structure of the field-mode,but the periodic evolution of the entanglement properties cannot be destroyed.

QUANTUM MECHANICAL CHANNEL AND QUANTUM MUTUAL ENTROPY IN THE TWO-PHOTON JAYNES-CUMMINGS MODEL

Mao-Fa Fang

We have studied the dynamics of the two\|photon Jaynes\|Cummings model (TPJCM) by using the quantum information theory, given the quantum mechanical channel representing the state change of atom, derived the quantum mutual entropy and reduced entropy of the atom, and examined the effects of the phase coherence of initial cavity field and the Stark shift of atomic levels on the quantum mutual entropy in the TPJCM. It is shown that quantum mutual entropy \{evolves\} periodically, quantum mechanical channel transmits periodically the information of atomic initial state to its final states, and quantum mechanical channel and mutual entropy are also dependent on the phase coherence of initial cavity field and on the Stark shift of atomic levels.
