Abstract

We use quantum theory and numerical method to study the non-local three-atom system quantum characteristic. The initial state of the three-atom system is on the three-body entangled W state, and the two atoms A,B can interact resonantly with a single-mode field in the coherent state.During the course of Cavity-QED evolution of the total system,we make Bell measurements to the atoms A and B. Through operating the intensity of the coherent field and the dipole-dipole coupling interaction between atoms A and B,we can control the atomic occupancy of atom C outside of the cavity. After taking photon detection to the coherent field,we can control C atomic dipole squeezing through manipulating the evolution time, the number of the detected photons, the parameter of coherent field and the dipole-dipole coupling interaction between atoms A and B So we are easy to remotely control the quantum character of the atom outside of the coherent cavity.

Remote controlling for the evolution of atom's occupancy by using W and GHZ states in the Tavis-Cummings model

Han Feng, Man Zhong-Xiao

Considering that three two-level atoms A, B and C were initially prepared in W or GHZ entangled state and two of them, A and B, interacted resonantly with coherent state field, after cavity QED evolution, Bell-basis measurement was performed on the two atoms inside cavity, through modulating the intensity of the coherent field and the strength of dipole-dipole interaction between atoms, one can controlled the evolution of atom's occupancy of atom C outside cavity. The results show that the influence on the evolution properties of occupancy of atom C outside cavity is different under selecting different initial state and carrying out different measurement in the same initial state. As increasing the intensity of the coherent field and the strength of dipole-dipole interaction between atoms, the evolution of occupancy of atom C outside cavity can exhibit obviously the collapse-revival phenomenon and the characteristic of increasing of Rabi frequency and lengthening of revival period, etc.

The entanglement character of two entangled atoms in multiphoton Tavis-Cummings model

Zhang Ying-Jie, Zhou Yuan, Yun‐Jie Xia +1 more

We investigated the entanglement time evolution of two entangled two-level atoms. The two atoms can undergo multiphoton transition when they interact resonantly with a single-mode field in the coherent state. The results show that the two-atom entangled state evolves periodicity. The influence of the two-atom initial state, the dipole-dipole coupling intensity between two atoms, the parameter of the coherent state and the number of the transitional photons on the entanglement degree of two atoms are revealed. When the initial state is a maximum entangled state, the state of the two entangled atoms will forever stay in this maximum entangled state. So this kind of entanglement state can be used for quantum information storage.

Remote Control Entanglement Properties of Twoatom Inside Cavities

卢道明 Lu Daoming

Considering three two-level atoms initially in the GHZ state, two atoms of the three atoms are put into initially empty cavity and made resonant interaction. The two-atom entanglement properties inside cavities are investigated by means of the quantum theory and numerical calculations.Through comparing the results if a rotation operation and direct selective measurement is performed or not,the influences of a rotation operation and state-selective measurement of the atom outside the cavity on the two-atom entanglement evolution inside cavities are discussed. The results obtained using the numerical method show that the two-atom entanglement properties inside cavities is controlled by manipulating the atom outside the cavity, and it can be strengthened by seleting suitable rotation angle.

Manipulation of entanglement and preparation of quantum states for moving two-atom and the light field via intensity-dependent coupling

Xiaojuan Liu, Zhou Bing-Ju, Liu Yi-Man +1 more

In this paper, the Tavis-Cummings model is generalized to simultaneously consider the atomic motion and the field via intensity dependent coupling. Under the conditions of vacuum field, weakly and strongly coherent field, the entanglement evolution properties of two-atom-field and two-atom-two-atom are investigated using atomic reduced entropy and concurrence, respectively. According to evolution characteristics above, we prepare the W-class states of two-atom-field, two-atom Bell state, fidelity state of Bell-state atoms, single-photon state, two-photon state and stable number-states of field by selecting the interaction time of the two-atom-field, selecting the entanglement factor of the two-atom, regulating the field-mode structure parameter, controlling the probability amplitude of pure state of the system and selective measurement. The manipulation of two-atom Bell state sudden generation and its maintenance in a limited time, the formation of periodic quantum echo of Bell-state atoms and the continuous fidelity of Bell-state atomic information are achieved. The results show that the system has a powerful function of quantum information, and provide the physical carrier and theoretical parameters for experimental implementation of quantum information processing.

Dynamics of entanglement of qubits in the three-qubit Tavis — Cummings model with dipole-dipole interaction

Alexander R. Bagrov, Eugene K. Bashkirov

The article studies the dynamics of pairwise entanglement of three qubits, two of which are trapped in a resonator and interact with a single-mode ideal resonator through single-photon transitions, and the third qubit is outside the resonator. This takes into account the dipole-dipole coupling between the isolated qubit and the qubit in the resonator. We have found a solution to the quantum nonstationary Schrodinger equation for the total wave function of the system for the initial separable and biseparable states of qubits and the thermal initial state of the resonator field. Using these solutions, the criterion of entanglement of qubit pairs - negativity is calculated. The results of numerical simulation of the negativity criterion have shown that the including of a small dipole-dipole coupling between an isolated and one of the trapped qubits can lead to significant entanglement of qubit pairs for all initial states. There is a transition of entanglement from one pair of atoms to other pairs of atoms during the evolution of the system. It is also shown that for some separable and biseparable states, the dipole-dipole interaction can suppress the effect of sudden death of entanglement.

Quantum statistical properties of entangled light fields in nondegenerate k-photon J-C model

Zhou Yuan

Considering two-mode entangled coherent light fields, one mode of the fields was poured into the cavity with a two-level atom and interacted with it by k photons non-resonantly.During the course of cavity-QED evolution of the total system,a selective measurement of the atom was carried out.Through manipulating the evolution time and the parameter of the coherent field which interacted with atom,in certain conditions, the non-classical light such as anti-bunching and squeezing state can be generated, and the strength of non-classical property can be changed. In this way by using the technique for cavity-QED with k photons non-resonantly and the entangled correlation between the coherent light fields, control or change the non-classical properties of coherent light fields remotely without direct measurement was implemented effectively.
